Totally agree with the short rotation from Thibs. He NEEDS to give these guys some reps early in the season sto help build their confidence. I get he probably thinks these rookies could be a liability in important minutes BUT even worse than the loss, one of these starters WILL get injured if they keep playing these crazy minutes. Thibs needs an intervention.

Tibbs coaches like were in the 1970s.. he seems so out of touch with the modern style of basketball… but this is going to be a continuous theme. At this point I’m just looking forward to when all the guys are back. Hopefully by midseason Sims will get cut.. he is just in the way. Going after Bridges was an irrelevant move considering they didn’t care enough to keep the whole Nova Squad together. Bridges doesn’t have that Knicks Dog Spirit in him. One positive though is that he isn’t an injury prone guy. 🤷🏽‍♂️.. in the end.. I’m predicting the post-season to be similar to last post-season.. starters will more than likely be injured.. and Tibbs might be forced to play some of the rookies that he is ignoring. By then he will be hoping he gave them more experience during these early regular season games. If the Knicks don’t get further than they did last season, Thibbs might get fired.. and I won’t miss him.

We have some good shooters on the bench.. Tyler Kolek, Pacome Dadiet, Matt Ryan. If the starters shooting is off.. wouldn’t it be wise to put them in the game?.. if even for just a momentary offensive shooting boost?
