I was just trying out my clips of Angel Sanctuary to the song from the soundtrack (it plays during the credits^^) It's not very good, but I'll upload it anyway. Meh.

I don't blame the people who don't like the OVAs. I think I could only follow the plot cause I finished reading the manga maybe a month ago. Even though it's just the book of assiah that's adapted, it feels really too fast paced. I feel like the anime should be considered as a kind of advertisement for the manga cause that's where all the good stuff is at. Except the music. That's why I'm here lol

The fact that it was badly received by the American public has nothing to do with the fact that it wasn't given a full anime. Japanese manga publishers/anime studios are rarely concerned about how well their product is received overseas when making decisions.

Also the reason why the anime is only three episodes is because Kaori Yuki wouldn't give the permission at first and when she did the series was already halfway. She decided to only allow three episode OVA and a CD drama series instead. She mentioned this between volumes 14-17 I believe... in the Memories of a Angel section of the manga, a side panel with commentary from the author.

In Angel Sanctuary's case (and I'm a rabid fangirl when it comes to Angel Sanctuary mind you..) I prefer the manga a million times than the anime...Why? The main reason is because the anime is incomplete...it ends right when the storyline is just getting started in the manga....trust me when I say your better off reading the manga..you get the whole story and in a million times more detail.
