I bought one of these because I no longer need to lug around with me and thus no longer have a bottle opener. I wish there were more options. I would have gladly paid more for a steel upgrade and a different locking mechanism (not a huge fan of liner lock). The action is smooth and it does lock though, and the reviews on the cheap kershaws with openers are not all that great. I plan to get allot of use from this knife and the opener on the weekends especially at home-brew club events.

8cr13mov, budget steel, but spyderco seems to do a really good job with the heat treat, and my tenacious with the same steel holds an edge well.

How does the can opener tool work? I can't picture in my head how it opens a can of fruit, beans or whatever.

U pretty much stab the top of the can and drag the blade along the top

Wrong. You place the hook under the lip of the can and then use a rocking motion to slowly cut around the top of the lid.

I would like to see it with half serrated with smooth pointed top like para2 and instead of flat screw driver switch to glass breaker

Glass breaker that will hide and when u squeeze it comes out. Everything is black finish, blade everything. That will be ultimate.

Or straight up spiderco para 2 with seat belt cutter and squeeze glass breaker. Everything black
