This is such a good, but underrated, Tom Cruise movie. I think the critics missed the boat on this one.

I think, looking back on it in hindsight, there wasn't much that set it apart from other films that used a pretty played out formula in hollywood at the time, other than the fact that it's just a relatively mediocre script executed absolutely perfectly. It was easy for people to kind of write the movie off as "another one of those", when in reality it was probably the absolute best delivery of an otherwise played out and predictable premise.

I'm glad you ladies enjoyed this movie it's one of my top favorite Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz movies it's not a movie you expect the way it goes especially towards the end I love the little banter back and forth between both characters it's phenomenally done Cameron makes it funny as he known as Tom Cruise makes it super serious oh it's such a good movie I saw this movie in theaters when it came out 6 months later or 8 months later or whatever how long it takes to come to DVD and Blu-ray bought it day one in the store to add to my collection❤ the great back and forth movie fun hilarious actiony seriousness mixed with a lot of other genres so good😂

The deeply passionate offense that was loaded into "This Maaaan" during the drugged escape sequence had me cackling, lmao. Y'all were so deeply offended on Cameron Diaz's behalf, absolutely hilarious. As an aside, the only thing Tom Cruise loves more than riding a motorcycle at high speeds through a vaguely Mediterranean urban setting is sprinting in a straight line. So... yeah, he did it in top gun and a lot of other movies, because MAN Tom Cruise loves looking cool on a motorcycle 😂😂

It's great watching these movie reaction bits on KZbin when I've already seen the film. I spend half the time very quietly saying "Just wait" or "No, you've got that wrong!!!" Cameron Diaz does look hot in the bikini! Naomi, who Roy meets at the café, is played by Gal Gadot.

There are few Cameron Diaz's serious movies. 1999 football film Any Given Sunday, 2001 Vanilla Sky with Cruise, 2002 Gangs of New York, 2009 Drama My Sister's Keeper also 2009 The Box, 2011 The Green Hornet and 2013 Crime thriller Counselor. Any Given Sunday and Vanilla Sky is only once that I have seen and I personally didn't like Vanilla Sky. The Box is movie that I have wanted to see many years, I haven't founded anywhere! There could be others too, but these are what I remember first hand!
