ABOUT KNIGHT RIDER:
David Hasselhoff stars as Michael Knight in his breakout role as a crime fighter who awakens from a serious injury with a new identity. In the series premiere, Las Vegas police detective Michael Arthur Long is shot in the face and left for dead before being rescued by dying millionaire Wilton Knight, the chairman of Knight Industries and creator of the public justice organization, the Foundation for Law and Government (FLAG). Wilton makes Michael the primary agent for FLAG, giving him a new identity via plastic surgery and the name Michael Knight, plus an arsenal of equipment to continue his crime-fighting work. Principle among this equipment is the Knight Industries Two Thousand, or KITT, a heavily modified and artificially intelligent Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with the ability to talk, fire weapons and travel at high speed. Michael and KITT work together to take down criminals who operate above the law.

I love this, the video is so clear. If you look closely, Michael is reading an operations manual with the title "Knight 2000". Unfortunately the videos on the NBC site are not viewable from Canada, which is a real shame.

Actually at the beginning of the video. Michael & KITT passed a speed limit sign, it said 45 miles per hour. If they are going 55, then they actually are speeding.

The show was always geared towards preteens and teens. I honestly don’t see the show to be THAT childish and the later seasons although quality was inconsistent were still similar in terms of heart as season 1.

I like knight rider Michael reading books while kitt driving and policemen didn't speeding staying in 55 mile per hour he push red button to speed up the Rader gun and Michael look behind him there were a police car and ask kitt you going 55 and kitt say of course read yourself it is 55 and Michael push turbo boost and kitt speed up and police car pull over. And policeman use the Rader gun again the speeding going faster.

The Turbo boost is achieved by small but powerful rockets mounted behind the front and back wheels. The front wheel rockets are what cause the initial jump while the back wheel ones are what lift the rest of the car up. Much like the ejection seats shown in the pilot episode, it can be adjustable. In this case all he'd have to do was make sure the front wheel ones are shut off and it would just make the car go faster.
