The eye shield added so much for me as a child. I was a massive fan of English medieval history...you know; Robin Hood etc..I always wanted to see something walk into shot. Always waiting to hear the Goblin horn. Even as a kid, you knew the portals were just black bits of cloth, but the idea that this could happen in your local forest...and you could be playing it with your mates the next day? Brilliant. I loved this show...and I loved the feeling of being taken into some ancient forest or ruined castle. Great fantasy for me! Just brilliant fodder for a child wanting to explore magic and monsters.

How strange those portals were would you go through it and see where they lead to the eye shield was good tho I sometimes used to be a bit unsure about them but I knew they were the way to go to get to the next part of the adventure but unusual tho it would be strange if they really did exist but I would be curious to know where they led to i would go through them to see where it would take me tho they are portals dark doors would you go through them to see where it leads to if walked down a lane and see one of those portals at the end of the lane I would enter it and see where it leads to

One of the best quest objects! If I had my very own Pub or Speedboat, I would name them after it!

I quite liked the Eyeshield. Sure, there was zero interaction but the kids were so bad at the game it was a break from their incompetence! And you got to see some lovely English countryside. Not to mention National Trust properties and castles etc.! I guess it was also quite relaxing too? OK so it was filler, nothing more but then the first few series were so slow paced that this was needed to spread things out. Also, I really needed this video only a few days ago and completely missed it! Bah.

If you saw a dark portal appearing out of nowhere would you go through it to see where it goes I would but not on my own
