If you don’t mind me asking, how’d you get the budget for all this?

I have a question that is kind of random. Would you try to create a Death Note Film Series? I mean, you guys are so good with this kind of stuff! You would definitely do a better job then Netflix ;)

We are huge death note fans! The shinigami would be tough to film practically but we love murder mystery anime enough to want to see Death Note done right! Maybe someday!

Shinigami would be tough to film, but if it helps you can use Netfix's idea to always keep Ryuk in the shadows. As for the costumes I'm sure you would do a great job at and the facepain, well you did an amazing job with The Joker. ;D

KMG Thanks Man! As a director, I’d definitely lean heavily on shadows and practical make up for Ryuk. Go a mixture of practical live action performance with some big VFX for major scares. So he’d be like pennywise from IT performance wise. Honestly, It’s really important getting Light and L’s character right from there. Focusing the script on their cat and mouse game which I felt was the best part of the show. Then we can watch to see who outsmarts the other.

you're absolutely right! You have to play it smart, especially after the failure of the Last Death Note movie. I would try to stick to the story as much as possible as for batman, he has had so many movies that now you can for example do a different version of it, like Zack Snyder did. the point is, Death Note needs a movie that follows the exact story as the series did, then you can make different version of it (I'm of course referring to Netflix)
