i wouldn't recommend replacing Primed Pressure Point given Condition Overload alone stacks 3 times meaning you get 360% damage BUT it's on a status effect so you should keep Primed Pressure Point on because that paired with Condition Overload leads to 525% damage as opposed to the 360% obtained by applying status

@@ergosum5001 Well, there are still dominant weapons right now though, although they are not the same. Actually, now it's harder to make basic condition weapons work, and to make crit weapons truly shine you either need to find the highest crit ones with also a good crit multiplier A Dakra Prime for example is REALLY strong right now, and if you have Arcane avenger anything with 3x base crit multiplier would probably be able to scale to ridiculous damage. Without arcane avenger, with 5 gladiator mods and blood rush you get to 470% crit chance, which is tier 4-tier 5 damage (x1000 damage if your crit multiplyer is 6). In theory, with one avenger up you get to tier 8-9 (x 1 million damage). To be also fair, there is another build focused on heavy attacks, even though doesn't deal as much straight damage as this one.

Oh, btw, apparently Gladiator mods were bugged and didn't provide a set bonus. Which is why I still saw orange crits with the Broken War. With yesterday's hotfix Gladiator mods have been fixed, and now 35%+ crit chance weapons are VERY strong, allowing you to reach tier 4 crits (or even tier 5, with a specialized build). I was in a 40 minute survival arbitration, and my MR 10 Inaros with a broken war was outdamaging a MR 27 Saryn Prime

@@edgaral The only difference is that instead of Condition Overload I put Gladiator Might. That +10% more to the gladiator set bonus adds another +120% crit chance at 12 stacks, which translates to a +42% to crit chance, which is what pushes the weapon to having all tier 4 crits. To be fair, I can afford to do this because on Inaros I have a good excuse to put both Gladiator Resolve and Gladiator Aegis in my build. And that scales very welll with the crit damage bonus the weapon provides, since tier 4 crits are increased by the critical damage bonus^4. So for example going from a multiplier of 4 to a multiplier of 5 means going from a 256x more damage to 625x more damage, which is a +100% increase (added to the increase given by having more crit chance) On the other hand, Pressure Point is not really that needed when you already have Condition Overload: with just two conditions you have +240% damage, and pressure point, being an additive bonus to this, would not be that relevant. I might also try other things, like adding Weeping Wounds somewhere, or replacing drifting contact with Gladiator Rush, but the build I have right now already works great. Oh, and btw: Broken War is not even necessarily the strongest sword you can use for this: the Dakra prime has 36% crit, 18% status, but, more importantly, a 2.4x critical multiplier (Broken War only has 2.2), which should increase the damage substantially. But it has slightly less base damage, which shouldn't be that big of a deal though.

No not especially khora players. Khoras whip is a sudo-exalted weapon which means it scales of your melee mods , syndicate augments and rivens too. Keres has dispo 5 but i would rather buy a jawsword riven with dmg critchance critdamage for 50plat than buying that keres 1 for 3000p. Also has a syndicate mod. Ur choice tho. My khora hits unarmored enemies for billions of damage. Just look it up in youtube, thank me later

I'm pretty sure from playing around with the Destreza Prime that they removed forced slash procs from the combos, which really sucks. I wondered why rapiers in general didn't feel as good to use, and this was probably the cause. Then again, I can't be 100% on this until info on the reworked stances come out. EDIT: It appears that there is only a bleed proc on the first strike of the neutral combo, compared to all combos starting with a bleed proc before.

Zaws are all about personal preference so if you want a crit one you take whatever link builds for crit and vice-versa for status,the main grip for polearms/heavy blades is the Schtung,and for your strike the main ones used are the Dokrahm and Plague Kripath but since the Kripath is locked behind Plague Star if you don't have it go for the Mewan strike as for the builds they're all the same setups as any melee weapon you have currently pretty much

To add insult to injury the entire Nikana class has arguably the best sustain of all the melee weapons because you can use the Amalgam Daiku mod to more or less full heal on every single light attack. Secondaries are more than powerful enough to make up for the loss of a primary weapon and the Daiku itself is no slouch at close-medium range either.

The redeemer is one of my recommendations. If you don’t have any bullets in your weapon use the Redeemer basically a gun disguised as a melee weapon the only problem is it’s speed The lecta is always one of my faves. It’s range and and fast attacks are what made it for me I forgot the weapons names but it’s the weapon you earn when getting the warframe Excalibur umbra It’s fast, and repetitive and simple slash back and forth motion makes it easy to run around without the fear of decreasing or increasing your motion which made using the weapon comfortable using

I love my wolf sledge, it may not be something everyone can get but it destroys everything so quickly, my mods on it are primed pressure point, Primed reach, Primed furry, Condition overload, Volcanic edge, Volatic strike, Virulent scourge, and Viscous frost, 100% status and crushing ruin really loves crowd control and it can deal up to 1M in damage when used with the right frames

I'm actually surprised I heard nothing of the Dual Ichor because it's an amazingly underrated melee. With a mod config consisting of Primed Pressure Point, Primed Fury, Gladiator Might, Blood Rush, Gladiator Vice, Shocking Touch and Organ Shatter you can achieve 2.00% attack speed, 25.0% crit chance and 7.5x crit multiplier with it's typical damage stats. It can shred through just about anything.

replace pressure point with condition overload, gladiator might for weeping wounds and gladiator vice for gladiator rush. U only said shocking touch so I assume u have toxin in there too vs grineer. If u really want that gladiator bonus that badly just run it on helios sentinel' weapon and it applies to your melee(same for vigilante mods btw) try it out will perform 10x better guaranteed. Gladiator mods are kinda to weak to waste a modslot for them except rush since you dont need status from drifting contact anymore thanks to weeping wounds giving you basically 100% with combo. So the setbonus is an added bonus right there

For me, the new "War" is a great melee weapon right now. Range 3.2 on heavy blade sound like stupid but hey if you build it with tempo royale + shattering impact + corrosive. This can remove all enemies ' armor. As you know it's slow attack speed. Just bring berserker on it and gladiator set on sentinel if you want more speed just change your warframe to valkyr. The best combo of tempo royale is hold your W + right-click and spam your melee.

For silva and aegis prime gas is the way to go, 1 shot 130 heavy gunners with stripped armor 3-4 shot without and no combo multiplier needed; obviously an expensive build but worth if you enjoy sheild melees and play endurance runs

My personal meme weapon is Reaper Prime now. I got a +266% damage and +135% Crit Damage riven on mine. So what I do is focus on crit stacking on that.

@@insertname7750 Yeah hence it's popular. Gets a ton of use means it gets more popular hence a nerf to the Riven. I don't care about the trade chat unless I'm buying anything because it's autism at its finest. I usually have mine turned off same for region chat. Dude my Kripath Riven pretty much cost 2k plat before the patch and I still don't care that I might only be able to sell it for cheap now...actually it might cost more now as it does have a crit chance % lol. I play the game to enjoy it not to buy and sell stuff. So thinking about their cost is the last thing in my mind.

I only have a few of these weapons lol. But yeah I do agree with the Broken War. I was outdamaging a lot of higher MR's in Hallowed Flame because of that. I was always red critting after building the combo counter

@@TrueSighted i too was hipped when i finnaly got my fraggor prime BP (one hell of a trade), it was fun for about a week then i just left it there. It's VERY strong with bloodrush and berserker, but what i didn't like was the VERY slow attack speed before you started to get crits. Sure the berserk and red crits would pay off greatly in the end but you need live enemies to keep your combo and AS up, which is hard because when you do get those crits you one shot everybody...but then you lose your combo and AS and you need to wait 65785236 years for your first attack to hit, and you better pray it's a crit.

They are because they have a better damage spread than most weapons(nothing can compete with plague parts, especially with Twirling spire for forced slash)

Orthos Prime and Broken War are my two most used melee weapons. I've had the blueprint for War for ages, but I refuse to craft it until I can get the materials for a second Broken War so I don't lose my first one.

Some of the buff were really needed such as Kronen Prime. Although I am still a bit upset about some stuff like the Pangolin Sword and Jat Kittag. But the new combo system is really fun with certain stances.

I've been trying a new melee system quite a bit I don't actually think is always on top even the plague star ones anymore. You kind of have to pick crit or status on them before you can do a hybrid and blood rush was strong enough to put you over the edge no matter what but now your base crit has to be up higher for blood rush to have effects similar to the old system. There are some non saw melee weapons that have 30% + crit and 20%+ status. Baselines matter more due to how the calculations were reworked. Orthos prime can now beat the old zaw poles and stuff like kuva shildeg frame prime paracesis can go even further beyond

I would say Lesion and Twin Basolk, but considering Condition Overload, which was pretty much mandatory for these particular weapons, got obliterated, not so much anymore. 'Tis a shame, cause Twin Basolk in particular would have been godlike with the Heat change otherwise.
