Perfection, this mission used to be the worst for me.. i like how you made the defenses with those little gaps between towers, its what i did but the key is to divide your melee troops on 1-1-1-1 like you did, this did not occur to me until now lol

remember this map being so hard, I remember I also built towers like you did at that spot to make a chokepoint there. Tho, you made much better than what I did. Perfect! well played

If you sacrifice a single unit to each advancing barbarian army when they come to you they just sit there and starve after.

It took me 9 hours to finish this level, and back then you didn't had option to increase game speed...

Same. Difficulty really increased in mission 8, not only it took me 8-9 hours to finish this mission but also many many tries, especially the beginning. The only way to win the mission was to wait until enemy stops producing troops at about 4-5 hour mark. The hardest mission is 14 I think

I’ve lost 5:30 hours for that mission...I just let them be strong...but for sure in remake axes are skinny vs barbarians...

the key to win this mission in "normal way" is to attak barbarians in the north before they will attak u. Take all units march north and kill 1 by 1 two barbarians squards than retreet - and build 4 towers. Than when is attak of man at arms u kill them without towers so that the rocks arent used tken u retreet to towers so 3th barbarian squard is taking all the soots from towers

@@dimakeylin ​ это не читерство, а чизерство XD Cheese tactics, в этой игре после боя у войск восстанавливается здоровье до максимума, то-есть после каждого убитого варвара, пехотинец сразу же регенил ХП, а никто его не смог пробить топором, потому что лучники вовремя добивали голышей.

It's a bit annoying that exploiting the AI is pretty much a necessity in this game. This is fine for the base building part, where you have to pre-plan paths for your (dumb) servants, but in combat it feels like bad design. They never should have added the feature that a soldier replenishes his (hidden) health when he's no longer "in combat", meaning that if you can get enemies to walk into a single stream, every time one of them dies your defending soldiers replenish health and it's like nothing happened.

hmm, when i tried the watchtower tactics in r6720 the enemy units would just attack and destroy the build plans, so im not sure what you did but that "bug" was fixed in that version.

nope its not fixed :P first of all u should provoke enemy army by 1 melee trooper (just come closer in 2 move cells) and they will follow u. if this not helps then try split 1 archer and attack enemy army before they start attacking ur buildings so they will be triggered kill this bowman... and then hide behind ur towers and arrmy

no secret, i had to control my archers well, sometimes i push them "hold" or move a little. thing is more actions especially with crosswobws or archers help. wont lie, sometimes my troops died, but save load works fine

and i think if i split more axemans and take more time "make enemys cross around map longer" i think u can easily kill them one by one between towers like i do. P.S. first two (original) campaing i can do better and faster now (i mean when i recorded i was just started use this tactics). so good luck =)

H. Its only small part...I have 4 waves In kam remake. 1 stack destroy the half of my axes...I just can’t win this mission...impossible
