I think the reason the older films seem a tad bit more violent is because of the dark atmosphere that tim burton can create, he has such a macabre imagination, that all his movies have some sort of darkness to them

Best part of Keaton being Batman, and why I think Ben Affleck works in a similar way: You'd never suspect them. You'd never look at them and go "Oh yeah, that guy's definitely Batman". Bruce Wayne is able to avoid suspicion as being Batman because he doesn't come off as someone you could link to those kinds of activities.

after playing this dlc i think that WB should sit down with Rocksteady and Tim Burton and talk about making batman (1989) and batman returns into a game with some of Burtons villain versions appearing in between the 2 games i personally would love to see Burtons versions of Bane, Poison Ivy, Two Face and the Riddler (Jim Carrey should voice him).

Oh, I really do like the Keaton films from nostalgia and how they hold up today, yes I prefer the 89 film but both are interesting. While my favorite Batman movie(Live action) is Begins(mainly for Liam Neeson) but 89 is a close second. Now my favorite batman(not Wayne) is Terry because I love Will in that role and the idea of a batman having a happy marriage and somewhat regular life is an idea I've always liked. But as far as Waynes I believe I agree with you about Keaton being my favorite because of his emotion and the fact that he does look normal. Although Conroy is great and certainly is an extremely close by inches second.

As a kid I always saw the Michael Keaton as a Earth 2 type batman when he would kill criminals etc like in the batman returns movie he puts a bomb on a fat thugs chest, where as the animated series and post 1940's batman when he stopped killing people.

You can free roam the keatonmobile if you take out the own the streets side mission since it doesn't have battle mods that's it

Hey Kwing, you can use 89 batmobile in ng+ and if you completed the game for free roam on save file, however you can't activate knightfall in keaton suit

The sounds aren't movie accurate, except the turbine. True the sounds are inconsistent between the two movies but the engine sound is the same as the tank, but different pitch. In the movies this car had a roar, but in Returns it had a high tech sound with the engine. They even used it with the Batmobile in Mask of the Phantasm.
