Batman Arkham Origins is canon says Sefton Hill it just messes up the key elements such as Knightfall , the way penguin is , but Mr.Freeze is is right because in his biography in Batman Arkham City has the same background story from the Animated Series And it does mess up the Arkhamverse

This dlc is awesome and only $9.99. It is definitely worth the $10 purchase or free via season pass. I thought fish bowl on Mr. Freeze head and appearance in this dlc was a reference to the 60's tv show and 90's Animated Series.

In my opinion, Arkham Origins is the best so far... you really feel like your batman!!! and his bat suit actually looks like armor unlike the 1st two games...Arkham City I think has the best story and Arkham asylum was just flat out bad.

BTW in terms of continuity the series was always messed up origins didnt start it. arkham asylum was supposed to be a game which incoperated 70s years of batman history (which was why we had hugo strange and hush's files detailin encounters with batman) THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN he's never met hugo strange or hush by arkham city. the age criticism with gordon in origins, "he looks to different from asylum". YET we arent criticising how different he is in arkham knight? rocksteady isnt perfect still love to death EVERY arkham game

Honestly I take the Arkham Origins storyline with a grain of salt. So far, Cold Cold Heart has quite a strong structured story, whereas most of the other parts of Arkham Origins are very dodgy at best. In terms of Batman's origin and his relation to Gordon/The GCPD, I believe that what happened with Batman Year One and what happened in The Long Halloween would be more canon to the Asylum and City stories. And I'll say this again: Nick Cortez is the BOMB at being Mr. Freeze! Speaking of Mr. Freeze's voice, nice little lore on Mr. Ansara! I wasn't aware of most of his roles!
