Happy New Year, Gus! Excellent vid as always. I have both this and pliers wrench which resides in different pouches and is used it nearly on a daily basis. Extremely minimalistic, well made, and invaluable for EDC carry.

Hey Gus , great look at the K knipex ! Been in the trade all my life and never heard anyone pronounce the K ! I noticed you did and on YT most people do . Who knew ? Got quite a bit of Knipex kit and rate it . Have'nt got these but been meaning to pick some up . We always used to call this type of tool a water pump pliers but you don't seem to hear the term anymore . Great to see the young fella in action ........your boy ? 🙃 Always enjoy your knife videos , but nice to see you doing other stuff as well , A T B Tony . 🐴🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Top man, Tony 🍻 Always appreciate getting your take on my content, buddy 🫡 Same here... been in the trade, since 16 officially and unofficially, since 10. I'm 55 in March, so nearly 40 years 'on-the-tools'! 😳 with the last 5 years teaching building trades. I still call them water pump pliers, when I'm talking with my peers, same with feet & inches, but then metric with the younger generations and students. ⬇️ You're very kind T, no that's most definitely me, six years ago! 🤪 Be well, ATB Gus 👍

Great vid Gus. I do like Knipex, Back when i used to work as a maintenance engineer i loved my knipex side cutters and they are still going strong in my tool roll today which is 20 or so years after i bought them. I think that was the only knipex tool i have but I'll look into these as a smaller set to go with my larger Bahco ones, these days its only the odd diy job for myself or family members.

Hey Gus. How do you manage to beat me to topics that I have planned for videos??! I am a huge fan of the Cobra XS. Only last night I was using them to adjust radiator valves throughout my house. I have added some shrink sleeve to the handles partly too make them more comfortable and to make them easier to find.
@gadgetgus
@gadgetgus 8 ай бұрын
Hey Mark 👊 Sorry buddy... that also happens to me sometimes with other KZbinrs 🤪 Personally, I wouldn't use them on bleed values, only if absolutely necessary. The embedded photo in the video was to demonstrate their accessibility. It's always worth getting a brass 'winged' bleed key, for that - link below ⬇️ WZ Radiator Bleed Key- Radiator Valve Clock Key for Bleeding and Air Vent- Made of Solid Brass- Pack of 2 amzn.eu/d/dWzjsWE I have added shrink sleeves to quite a few things. However, I personally enjoy the aesthetics of the checkered handles 😉 I'm glad uou enjoyed the video, my friend, ATB Gus 👍

@@gadgetgus Hi Gus. I have a brass bleed key. This was just to adjust the Lockshield valves trying to balance the radiators. Worked out well. They are so small though..I thought I had lost them and then found them in my pocket. I might get there 125mm version too
