If you look in the 9-10 triangle, there is a real 1/4” hex hole in the bottom. So it can take any long bit, not just the included double ended. So with a few spare torx bits in the pocket, it can become a great T-handle for emergency jobs, where you just need a screwdriver and are without your EDC bag.

Needle nose pliers for the cabinet key will also work, better than the screwdriver. And the K is not silent on Knipex :-P when the name was established no one had english in mind, english was the language of the enemy back in 1942. Before 1942 they used the company name C.G. Putsch KG, the company was established in 1882. Since 1942 it‘s Knipex Carl-Gustav Putsch KG. It‘s still a family owned business, CEO is Ralf Putsch.

I used to always pronounce the K but then I would get yelled at by all the English subscribers that it’s “nipex” not “Knipex” 😂 you can never win. Same with Wago.

I have a cheap smaller version of this type of tool from B&M Bargains for about £6. For me that's plenty, it covers everything in my house (radiator bleeding, meter cupboards) - but I could completely see the value of a more comprehensive tool for a tradesman

I love Knipex tools and dont mind paying a premium but £30 is bloody steep.

I've got that in a form of a few keys, just looked at Amazon almost £30, I paid less than £10 for all my keys. I put it in a key box so for me it's not worth the cost for the little convenience. But good idea for space saving.

I used to have one, but someone borrowed it and never left it back, expensive to lose, use cheaper ones, but they are not near as good, but I can have 4 of them for the price of the knipex one

Bought a knock off brand for $9.. looks the same, works the same. I don’t mind paying a premium for quality tools when the work the do justify it, but a cabinet key?
