Thank you for the easy to understand tutorial. I knit mainly socks, so have lots of 4 ply yarn. Is it possible to knit the beanie in that type of yarn to easily accommodate the increase in stitches at the crown?
@DesignsbyPhanessa2 жыл бұрын
You can adjust based on your gauge and yarn weight :)

I’m a beginner in knitting and would like to know how to do your hat with the magic loop and would like to know if you can make it with dk yarn.

Yes you could but would need to figure out gauge to get the right sizes

Great idea! I wonder if you do it all in 1 x 1 rib so it doesn''t eventually stretch and become too big. Have you ever done that?
@DesignsbyPhanessa Жыл бұрын
I haven’t made one with a 1x1 rib. You’re right that it’ll be stretchier so you’d prob need less stitches depending on your gauge

Thank you for your tutorial. I've been using looms but find the hats are too stretchy. Going to try this today. Please can you tell me what the screw thing is called that you secured your logo on with? Xx
@DesignsbyPhanessa2 жыл бұрын
It’s a label I bought from Etsy. You can just search and so many shops sell them.

Love this hat!!!! How many inches is it from the top to where the Brim starts. When I'm on round 50 it looks way to short compared to the video. So was wondering the length up to where you start knitting the brim
@DesignsbyPhanessa2 жыл бұрын
Awe man, I’m not sure! If I didn’t put that down in the pattern I would measure it when brim is up
@knitone2312 Жыл бұрын
❤ the pattern. So the number of round’s were 140?🤔.

I got your pattern and I can’t work out how many stitches for each size could you please explain for me thankyou
@DesignsbyPhanessa6 ай бұрын
The pattern should tell you how many stitches to cast on or you can determine your own gauge by knitting a swatch. How to knit a swatch kzbin.info/www/bejne/jp_Wfq2ZjL12qacsi=W7K-7j2ghczczgdE How to measure for gauge kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6mVpayCm6qggJosi=nJEI3FgD2_LQ9Lf3

Hi Phanessa! I don’t knit but I was wondering how I could do something similar in crochet. I would love to make one all in one color. If I wanted to try would I just double the length of an adult hat from the bottom up and make a tube than cinch each side closed like you did on this knit hat. Thank you 😊
@DesignsbyPhanessa3 жыл бұрын
Yes! That sounds perfect!

@@DesignsbyPhanessa Wow, thank you for the quick reply! Have a wonderful evening 🦋
@mary-ruthflores41072 жыл бұрын
I carry the yarn (twist it in) every round, it’s a habit. When I cut off a color, I twist the end in for about 10 stitches, then trim it so I don’t have to bother with weaving end the tail
@DesignsbyPhanessa2 жыл бұрын
Nice!
@guptar7598 Жыл бұрын
Can we make it with straight needles?
@DesignsbyPhanessa Жыл бұрын
You’d have to make it flat but you can also use double pointed needles
@sana.maq12 жыл бұрын
Can we do this using staright needles?

@DesignsbyPhanessa3 жыл бұрын
Adult. When I put it in my kids, it hadn’t been worn so it didn’t stretch. Eventually it’ll be too big for them.

@@DesignsbyPhanessa oh, I started making the adult version from your blog, starting with 80 stitches. Is that too many then?
@HomeSweetHomeDecorHSHD9 ай бұрын
Hi, Your pattern indicates 80sts for adult. Your video states 46 and you mention that this is for an adult sized hat in one of the comments. Can you please clarify? What is the correct stitch number for an adult sized beanie. Very confusing😔
