What lovely beachy colours! They're gorgeous. I'm knitting a cotton sweater at present. Like you, I knit all year round but our summer in Northern Ireland is so disappointing this year. Wet. Cold. Windy. When the sun comes out it's pleasant but there's no heat in the air. Hence the sweater knitting. I'm also crocheting a baby blanket. Must get a mive on with that. The baby arrived in April!! So glad you and Rich are well and that you got your pool up and running again. Enjoy!! ❤

I am in mini heaven! Got all of them! I only run my AC when it is too hot for fans and open windows so knitting garments on my lap can be a no go. However, I ran across a molded kids craft tray and its the perfect size to put over my lap and the knitting sits on the tray. And it has little cubbies on each side. I am working on a couple of tops for my nieces wedding this fall. Fun summer yarn! Here is to good knitting mojo that you have a beautiful shawl for your daughter's wedding. xx

Summer is going to be like your summer last year, my husband has health issues. So I started the Calico Quilt shawl so I can knit and not think too much. Some colorwork socks I need to finish. I have started, frogged, tinked back these, I really want them done. And after years I hope to finish a doll house from my childhood. All that is left is the trim.

I’m trying to downsize my stash by marling my finger weight yarns into blankets. I do my knitting when I’m relaxing in ac, so blankets are no problem.

Have three projects on the needles. A never ending WIP-my scrappy Northeasterly Blanket. It gets pulled out whenever I need to use up some leftovers. Also a pair of Denise’s No Fear Shorty Socks-my purse knitting. And another Helen Stewart shawl called Rewilding. However, no knitting for the last five days thanks to unseasonably hot weather and an AC that decided to breakdown. And repair people still haven’t made it here after five days. 🙄👎🏻👎🏻
