If the colours match nicely it would look nice either with either 2 or 3, it is your preference. Using cupcake yarn would look beautiful too.

I really like this stitch i want to make a blanket out of it and i was wounder if you could add a border to it ?

For the border you may add additional stitches and make the double crochet stitches on both sides for the border. Depending on the blanket side you may add more or less stitches for the border. If you are adding the double crochet stitches to start and to finish each row, I would suggest to start the first row or a few rows with all double crochet stitches.
