Thanks for taking the time to record and share your recent makes... and any tips you want to share for making quiet time work for an almost 3 year old who fights naps would be awesome 😂 so impressed you were able to record a video! Your Musselburgh in handspun is stunning. Such a good idea to showcase the yarn. Excited to check out the music and book recommendations. I've also been seeing Chappell Roan everywhere but haven't listened yet. Yay Olivia Rodrigo! Vampire always gives me goosebumps!

Yes! Guts has literally been on repeat at my house. River's been singing "I'm pretty when I cry" 😆 And, oh the interruptions I edited out. I changed TWO pullups during that recording. LOL. And I HIGHLY recommend sticking to your guns about turning naptime into quiet time. Eventually I just stopped making River stay in bed for naptime and he was grateful to be able to get up and play during the time he was supposed to be napping. Then it was expected and now it is a struggle to get him to stay in his room for it. But it was for Lucy at first too, and as she got older she got better at playing by herself and now she still does quiet time great on the weekends. Having a set of rules that I recite every time helped over time. Good luck! I'd go totally insane without it!

First of all, you're son is adorable and you have some beautiful makes this episode.! That book series sounded good so I put the first one in the series (My Heart is a Chainsaw) on my TBR. It trade, I think you might like the book I just finished. It takes place after the Salem witch trials in a town called New Salem and it's called, "The Once and Future Witches" by Alix Harrow. Omg, River!! What a cutie-pa-tootie! 😆 So, you've got me hooked on crocheting a granny square tote... trying REALLY HARD not to cave and get yarn to make a crochet raglan 🙈 And YASSS!!! Olivia Rodrigo!!! I love her music so much. Always here for the angst - and definitely going to check out those other bands you mentioned. ✨💖🤘🏻

Good video, great projects! I've heard/read somewhere that using fabric glue to secure pesky ends is a possible solution for your sweater. I have not tried it yet but I have plans.

I made the Bifurca vest a few months ago and I absolutely loved the funky construction and the finished object is soooo lovely!! Definitely a favorite 😍

Also, i always have to use the stitch counts for the next gauge....tighter???? than what ive measured in my crown because i DO knit tighter in small circumfrence. I.E. i knit the next smaller circumfrence than what my original gauge dictates. OR you could switch to smaller needles. Went through multiple hats before i finally figured that out.
