With the crochet clothes like shirts and shorts, I've seen many solutions. Some people wear nude/skin-colored undergarments, some line the clothes with fabric, and some only use crochet clothes for layering over leggings/tights or plain tops. Some decide not to care and wear them anyway.

I enjoyed watching your progress through the different projects. The shorts turned out great! They look fab on you. I think your modifications on the cardigan (turning it into a tee shirt) were smart. I think it looks really nice on you, but if you do not like how it looks, fair enough. The knit top looks cute on you, too. Can't you get another ball of that yarn to make the top longer? And that brown shirt also looks just fine: the color is lovely and I don't think it washes you out at all.

If you are worried about moths and your stash is stored some place that moths could potentially get in, you can put your yarn in big ziploc bags and put them in the freezer for a bit... from what I've read, 3-7 days is plenty. the rapid temperature drop should kill any eggs.

Aaah I am currently freestyle crocheting a pair of shorts and I also accidentally added stitches at the back seam!

And I also have the problem with the butt not being covered. If I see it right you added some double crochet rows only to the back and then added the ribbing?

Where are you that it is so cold ? I detect some southern Irish as an accent ? My b Nan was from co Wexford , I live I Northern California it’s 104 f today way too hot the opposite
