So cool to see what you are working on, love the socks you are working on. So much crochet! It’s so sweet Laya wanted to give presents to her toys, made me chuckle.

Good to catch up with you and what you’re working on. Taking advantage of the opportunity for the girls to share a room will not regretted. I have many fond memories of such a thing. As we became older we wanted/needed our own space but I do love those memories of early childhood with my sisters.

In my experience with KnitPicks, they appreciate when you let them know that you received something extra, but they usually just tell you to keep it and use the info to adjust their inventory.

This year while visiting family for American Thanksgiving, our friends (who have little kids like we do) showed us these clear strips of some kind of grippy stuff they had put on their slick wooden stairs so the kids wouldn't slip. You couldn't see it at all so the stairs still looked great, but there was no risk of slipping in be-socked feet. Not sure if that would work in your house, but figured I'd mention it because it's so sad to not be able to wear handknit socks!

We put rug pieces on our stairs. Most home stores sell them. Or a long running rug that can be tacked down. Safer for the kids too.

Yes we plan to put a runner in at some point

Regarding the Zauberball (magic ball): "Farbe" means colour and "Partie" means batch.

Thank you for putting forth the effort to do more podcasts for us. I live in TX and really look forward to watching you and hearing about your family and projects. Layla wanting Christmas gifts for her toys and you being willing to make gifts for her and Nova's toy lambs conveys so much about you as a Mother!
