Now I want a sweater just like your hot water bottle cover. :-) Thanks for a great episode.

I'm a Leto lady living in a Ranunculus climate. I love the Lento sweater and would love to make some cozy wool blend sweaters like that, but I live in Texas, where it's very hot and ridiculously humid 8 months out of the year. I'm mostly planning tees that I can wear 10 months out of the year. But I am in love with your lollipop Leto and the way you used the bright colors and that white base. I'm glad you ran out of Playa, because those sleeve with the stripes are fantastic. If I do make a winter sweater, I will have to remember your gorgeous Lento.

Ohh I can understand! Your opening line made me giggle but I totally get it, I had to adapt my knitting to Spanish climate too so I barely use my worsted weight sweaters, for example. But I am thinking maybe a Lento with a cotton/merino blend will be useful?🤔

@@movingstitches A cotton merino blend would probably be great for winter here! I'll add it to my queue. :)

One fingering, and two DK Tolstas are now in my wardrobe with another DK about to get on my needles. As you said, an incredibly versatile pattern! It can feel like a new pattern every time.

Lovely podcast. I’ve had the Lento on my list for a very long time- time to make it! I’ve made about 5-6 Ranunculus but my all time favorite pullover to knit and I’ve made 5-6 of them as well, is the Porty Pullover by Gudrun Johnston. It’s such a great color work pattern and her writing is fabulous. I would recommend it for a person’s first colorwork pattern. I’ve also made a couple of the Tolsta tees and am planning a striped one for my third. I’ve made the Feliz (cardigan and pullover) more than once and also the Yume Tee. The Bankhead hat is one that I’ve made several times and is a favorite.

Hello! Thank you for sharing all those recommendations! I will definitely go and have a look in ravelry!

I’ve made countless iterations of Jason’s Cashmere hat. I haven’t made a different hat in years. Maybe this year, but I’ve said that before!

Great choices , thanks . I am in my Tolsta phase at the moment which is giving me the confidence to experiment with different versions. I was going to make a long sleeve one for winter but may just try the Lento as I have some Aran wool I want to use after seeing yours. I am not feeling ready for a colour work sweater but the Andrea Mowrey shawl looks like good introduction to her work which at the moment intimidates me a bit !

Hey! Tolsta is such a good option to build confidence!I am super tempted by a long sleeve tolsta as a gift but …don’t have the time so it keeps being in the long term wish-list. Let me know how you get on with the Lento!! And yes! That shawl is super cute and easy!🤩

You may have convinced me to make a Lento 🤔 I recently finished my first Cozy Classic Raglan Lite by Jessie Mae and I am already envisioning at least two more!

Oh I always forget about that one and I actually have been recommended it many times!!!

I’ve knitted 3 Lentos, and know there’ll be at least 2 more in my life. Mine are all long-sleeved and oversized. I’m yet to knit a Ranunculus… maybe one day.

I just found your channel and I must say, you have a great eye for colour. That shawl is just perfect. Are you able to tell me what colours and the yarn you used? Thanks
@movingstitches5 ай бұрын
Yes! Thank you! In the notes of the video you have my ravelry account and all the yarn used is listed there☺️

I can’t see what the deal is with the Lento. There are tons of top down raglan sweaters with short rows at the neck.

I'm sorry but something is happy wth yr video. It keeps cutting you off so the flow of you speaking AND the image is disjoint/ cut off!!!! Can you tell me what is happening in the editing? It's very disconnecting for viewers.
