Those socks are too cute! A tip if you're interested - next time, instead of going up to the next size sock for the colorwork, try going up one needle size (just for the colorwork portion). For example, if you usually use 2.25 mm, go up to 2.75 mm. Works like a charm :)

The more you wash linen the softer it gets! Throw it in the wash and the linen will soften a lot

Auger bit for the drill? I don’t know if it will work for planting trees but for small stuff it’s easier on the shoulders than a post hole digger

What about cotton merino for tank? Maybe a blend that has more cotton than merino? Also, i love those socks. The red ones. I am knitting something similar in Colorwork Cuff Club. But i enjoy a heel flap and gusset. I love the heel flap. Idk. Its just fun. But ive never tried another type of heel. Oooh im enjoying RoP too!!!!

I agree with those that say to go up a needle size for the color work cuff. I knit socks on either a 0 or a 1 and find I go up 2 sizes to get it over my heel. Since you enjoyed knitting those socks so much maybe you’d be interested in Summer Lee’s Colorwork Cuff Club. I joined and love it! Get a new color work every month.

Thanks for the lovely video! You might want to try soaking the top overnight, it does wonders to linen fabrics, should work with your linen/cotton blend (make it softer).

I think using Blood Orange as a color name is so confusing because it's an orange the color of blood so it's red. But because the fruit is the name of a different color it's misleading lol.

Love the socks! Did you do anything to avoid color bleeding when you blocked them? I’d be so scared to do colorwork with red and white. I’m glad yours didn’t bleed!

Thanks! I blocked them in veryyy lukewarm water and didn’t let them soak for too long. Kinda afraid to throw them in the wash, lol!

I also have a knitted tank that I find a bit scratchy, and I wear it with a tighter tee or turtleneck underneath as a cute layering look! I think you could do some fun fall layering since the color of your tank is such a nice red!

I have used the paton linen for a tee. Linen gets softer with washing. I wash mine in the machine on gentle and is less scratchy each time.

@@ghostpuff aw thanks! And it hasn’t bled so far. Although I was veryyyy paranoid and didn’t soak them for very long in lukewarm water. Kinda afraid to throw them in the washer, lol!

@@carsleehandmade hahah i wouldnt throw them in the washer either! I ruined a pair of colorwork socks there, but that was because i forgot I was using alpaca for one of the colors ... still! i wash the colorwork stuff by hand :D
