I love all of your knits! You've motivated me to dig out an old WIP...a colour-work vest by Alice Starmore...have you seen her patterns? Also, I just have to help you out..."Leicester" is easy to pronounce...you just say "Lester" ❤😊

Thank you! I have seen patterns by Alice Starmore, but I’ll definitely take a look! Thank you so much for the pronunciation help - I desperately needed it!

Sorry about the weird ending to my comment below, Im not sure what happened, but I was trying to say I am from Washington state, and I am currently working on a baby blanket from hobbi, called Nellike. It is inspired by Inga from knitting traditions.

I wear a womens size 12 1/2 - 13 in women’s too depending on how the shoe is made. The struggle is real for me buying socks( normally have to buy men) I am wanting to get into sock knitting so that I can wear the colors that I want and that it fit my feet. I felt like I was the only one 😊.

I can commiserate in the footwear department! You’re not alone! I hope to get into sock knitting soon for the same reasons

Lovely projects. I’ve made those slippers. They are super fun. (Just FYI, Leicester is pronounced “Lester”). Thanks for the episode. Sitting here in Melbourne Australia, knitting on Sari Nordlund’s Ballard Pullover. In black 😅

Aggie’s little front butt cracked me up-that sounds exactly like something I would do, minus the brilliant solution to give her a tummy tuck (I would have frogged back after crying)!

😆 I’d much rather do surgery than frog!

Thank you, thank you so much for your nice inspiration and nice way of being in your podcast. I love to watch your work ....and I have big feet too🦶😂 coming to you from Holbaek in Denmark - knitting a Shore Tee by the lovely danish designer Anne Ventzel. I am sure you would like that too. Best wishes from Pia

Hi Sara, I love your Bifurka vest soo much! It’s also on my list. I now also watched all your other videos since I’m also living in the Boston area although I’m originally from Germany. I love that you modify the pattern to your liking and needs. It’s so inspirational. Atm I’m knitting on a Cardi Jumper (made into a pullover) and am almost finished with my first Petiteknit pattern, which is a Cumulus blouse.

Thank you! Nice to know another person in the Boston area 😊. The cumulus blouse looks lovely and cozy - I haven’t made it myself!

Thank you for another great podcast. I love your dresses, unfortunately i cannot sew. I'm visiting my sister in New Hampshire shortly, I have ordered so much yarn from Webs and purl soho to be delivered to her house😮. I think I will be bringing an extra suitcase back to Ireland 🇮🇪.

Have you knit the colour work up side down? Just asking as it looks to be the other way around. It make no difference to your beautiful top. I sometimes have knit graphs up side down. Im not picking as I love listening to you talk about your makes. The dress is perfect and looks very professional. I like tge sewing content too. And Out and About is all good.

Just re looked and the colour work looks like the chartered part goes up or down depending on whether its front or back. A reversible design. Beautiful which ever way 💗🧶🧶

I think it’s correct - at least it looks upside down like that in the pattern photo 😊

You are fearless! You tackle changing things midstream. You are an inspiration. I love the peach/white dress. I am knitting on the Lily Leaf Summer top by Lene Tosti. I think differently than a lot of knitters, so I have to re-write instructions in a way that makes sense to me, and then I can sail along. Fun!

Thank you so much! That’s a clever idea to rewrite the instructions in a way that you can understand

Love your knitting❤️. Can I find you on Instagram?
Wow! Your knits are beautiful along with your sewing. Summer has hit here in Southern California and your dresses have inspired me! Where do you get your linen? I see linen in the JoAnn’s site. Merchant and Mills seems to have the best but pricey with shipping. I’m really enjoying your content. BTW I’m in the big feet club with you. I’d say we have a good Foundation 😂

Yay for the big feet club! I also get my merchant and mills fabric from the US site www.downtowndrygoods.com. For plain linen fabric, I find the best prices at fabrics-store.com (they always have a 7% off coupon) 😊
