Incredible Crochet Tutorial and I must admit that even being a MAN I admire the simplicity of the crochet pattern holding just chains, single and double crochet combination. Nothing too fancy, nothing too complicated like BLUPR (back-loop-under-previous-row kind of thing) etc. The only "hard" part would be to get the right spot to insert the hook where we create the gorgeous hanging strips, but I guess with a few times practice and using symmetry this will come natural and easy to do over and over. I would still prefer to cover the rubber band with some yarn (maybe of a different color to stick it a bit out) but to do so, I would not use the same yarn to allow elasticity to expand freely so I will only use some other yarn to cover with as many single crochets needed making sure to leave those as loose as possible to allow the free rubber band expansion. I see this pattern fitting perfectly into a ladies waste as a belt as well as a nice hand back handles. Sky is the limit, so KUDO's for the amazing work and nicely shared video with all the stitches used in the pattern etc. Can't wait to see more from your next project ideas to share!

This is an amazing and innovative technique and I look forward to trying it! Thank you, as always, for sharing your skills and talent! A suggestion, my beloved teacher. I also crochet very quickly, so I solved my need to constantly pull against a skein or ball to make more yarn available to stitch with. I unwind a skein into a basket or plastuc container with a lid! I can pull the yarn in one continuous flow and there's no more pausing my stitching! Try it, you might find this method helpful to you, as well. Happy stitching!

I love the video and written directions! I'm dyslexic and often I wish I could see a pattern being made so I know how it should look. I crochet and knit and so far, I can follow directions but haven't been successful in learning to read the charts. I've played with yarn for almost 60 years.
