R1: ch8.
connect end of chain to the beginning stitch with a single crochet, creating a loop.
R2: ch7 and treble crochet into loop.
R3: ch7 and treble crochet into loop.
R4: ch4 and treble crochet into loop.
R5: ch7 and treble crochet into loop.
R6: ch4 and treble crochet into loop.
R7: ch7 and treble crochet into loop.
R8: ch4 and treble crochet into loop.
R9: ch7
insert hook into forth chain from the bottom of your first column and connect with a slip stitch. (watch time stamp 2:42)
R10: slip stitch into the immediate space next to where you finished and chain 4.
R11: do 4 treble crochet without pulling through the last loop, by the end you should have 5 loops on your hook, pull your yarn through all of them at once, like a puff stitch, and close off with one chain
R12: ch4 and single crochet into the next columns first stitch. (watch 4:21)
R13: 8sc into the next space, working the last one into the first stitch of the next column.
repeat round 10 through 13 three more times, or until you reach the end of your flower and have four petals.
once you reach the end, slip stitch into the first stitch of the next column (watch 6:35) and then chain 1, cut off your yarn and bind off.
make another flower the same way, only repeating round 10 through 13 two times, so you would have two petals on your new flower.
***for the third petal, only repeat round 10 and 11.
once you're done pull out your hook and take the first flower you made. choose any of the petals and insert your hook into the fifth stitch from the bottom.
take your other flower and insert your hook into the loop, pull the yarn through the stitch and chain 5.
now continue to finish your new flower, just repeat round 12. (watch 8:37 to 8:46)***

now instead of repeating round 13, only do 4 single crochet into the next space, because we need to connect our flowers a second time.
take your hook out. insert it into the fifth stitch of the space before the connected petals. pull the yarn through and continue to finish round 12. (do four more single crochet)
once you have made the fourth petal of your new flower, connect it to the petal of your first flower the same way and you're done! (repeat from the triple asterisks, or watch timestamp 10:06 to 11:06)
