Row 3: * K1, k2tog, k11, ssk, k1; repeat from * to end.
Row 4: * P1, p2tog-b, p9, p2tog, p1; repeat from * to end.
Row 5: * K1, k2tog, k7, ssk, k1; repeat from * to end.
Row 6: * P1, ssp, p5, p2tog, p1; repeat from * to end.
Repeat rows 1-6.

Sssooo...I have to learn English style knitting to do this stitch? I've tried and failed that. Continental is for crocheters and that's what I do. I've been a hairdresser 30 some-odd years, and ,am right-handed, but my right hand just will not hold yarn and do what it is supposed to do -- it's as if I'm trying to learn to knit or crochet left-handed, backwards or whatever other word you want to say. I'm not quite equally ambidextrous, but even while hairdressing, there are certain things my left hand did better and certain things my right hand did better. If ever I tried to reverse them, I would be clumsy or make mistakes. My left hand is not write well, but it holds yarn with finesse and control, atop my index, along with my project between my middle finger and thumb. My right hand is a li'l clumsy with a blow dryer on a customer but it's the only hand I can use to hold the barber clippers and render a most perfect flat top haircut in the barber style or in the wild imaginative '80s styles. As a barber and a beautician, I am used to using all of my fingers, believe me, it's something our teacher harped on, BUT my right hand doesn't do yarn. It's possible that my pragmatic and practical brain actually rejects the halting, stop/start nature of right-hand yarn handling and will only go for the fluidity of left hand yarn holding of Continental and Russian style knitting, or the simplicity of whatever they call that knitting where the yarn is strung around the neck and comes down in front of you to your needles.
