Jonna I just saw your finished Manhattan hat on Instagram and I am inspired to make this with a yarn i bought when i was in Japan. Not a Japanese yarn but I picked up one skein of De Rerum Natura Gilliat which is a new yarn to me. I hadnt planned a Christmas Day cast on but I just finished the Oslo Hat with mohair while watching you so why not? New pattern, new yarn! Merry Christmas to me! Last Saturday we heard sirens all day in our NJ town. My son said it sounded like Armageddon. Then I remembered that the fire department drives around with Santa on that Saturday. Wish they didn’t use the sirens, but the kids love it.

I just love watching you two! I was in Tarrytown Dec 7-12 visiting friends! I didn’t know that you lived in Sleepy Hollow? My hubby and his friend went to the cemetery on the 11th! So fun! Such a beautiful area!
