I am confused about the first slip stitch on rows 2-14 (timestamp 5:32 - 5:38). I am also confused about the last stitch (3:00). Are the 1st and last stitches different depending on whether we're working the right side versus the wrong side row?

you can slip the first edge stitch and knit the last edge stitch ( on the right side row) and you can slip the first edge stitch and purl the last edge stitch ( on wrong side row) I hope this you clear your confusion 😊💗
