When I first bough knock offs (clones) it also struck me that Lego designers were making efforts to keep it simple. Knock offs show us that it's a hard balance to strike, and shouldn't be taken for granted

I've collected Knock off LoTR mini figures recently because they look absolutely incredible, especially the Gondor Knights and Urak-Hai. They're beyond anything Lego created and they were like $0.80 per figure!

I always love the level of detail custom minifigure makers do, I can always understand the misprint parts from machining or however they print/paint the figures because keeping the small pieces, I mean lego also sometimes misprints pieces lol. also "The Lizard" his head is done the way of the lego che (i forgot the name spelling) line where they had head prints then the animal head with hollow eyes which was freaky when looking at their head print under the "mask", they usually had miss prints under the animal head lol.

I know this is a year ago but these bootleg Lego companies (XINH, KOPF, WM) just steals concepts from people who actually designed the custom Lego Minifigures. A lot have complained about it cause they're basically ripping off their design without giving them permission to use it but it doesn't go anywhere since these companies are based in China.

As cool as some of the weapons are, I feel some are more over the top or too unlego like. Which is fine, these are customs. I just don't think they fit well with them. I don't think lego needs to make specific molds for certain weapons like Stormbreaker or Loki's staff Also, as cool as the zombie Iron man or Cross Bones look, I really don't like the print of the face being on the helmet. It just looks odd. I think the zombie should've just had a new mold to have the actual face show through

bought a ton of these from a local boutique, a bit lazy, they show minifigures as a display / preview, with a big tub full of them, about 3$ each. the thing is the the displays use real minifigures, bought a "Star Wars Villian Pack" which showed a 2013 Darth Maul, what I got was an extremely dark shade of red version of darth maul, without a face.

I can be very touch-and-go when buying from unlicensed shops like that. As long as you are aware that MOST LIKELY, you won't be getting real figures for that cheap, you can have fun. The key is not to be tricked

I've bought knock-off minifigures. Parts are compatible with normal Lego minifigures and worth buying. 3 days ago I bought a knock-off Wolverine minifigures and 2 Star Wars knock-off minifigures.
