Knock Off To Knock Out Mezco Batman BVS with Muff Toys Upgrade!

It's hard not to love Batman. So here's more Batman for you! We're looking at have a knock off(KO) of the BVS Batman will look with the Muff Toys upgrade kit. Personally I think it looks great!

I sometimes use ko figures to make custom figures. Cheaper way to get certain parts without spending too much 👍

The earlier KO BvS Batman had a better headsculpt and overall paint job when it was released many years back. My guess is that the newer batch came into demand and the production quality suffered after the mold deteriorated.

OOOOH interesting. Well that makes a lot of sense. Then I think the video is still helpful since I previously looked up old videos myself to see what they might be like and they didn't seem as bad so seeing what they currently are like is helpful.

I know muff toys is going to release a Knightmare Batman soon, so I think it'd be worth keeping an eye open, I liked the quality of this headsculpt, so I hope they keep it the same with that figure

@ComicallyToys me too. The first bootleg I bought was a stormtrooper off aliexpress years ago. I thought it was fascinating because it was a bootleg that was almost as good as the hascrap stormtroopers. And now the aliexpress stormtroopers are as good, if not better. Been buying custom stuff for years, heads ,guns, etc. Off ebay. But this one is so superior to mezco, and I hate batfleck. That I'm seriously impressed 👌 👏 😎

@@rickytoddbotelho9555 Yeahhhh a buddy of mine says that the NECA stuff on AE is 1:1 to the US releases so getting from there is the best place if you can't find it locally/online. Other stuff has definitely been more hit or miss, but I think as more collectors find AE then the sellers will also be trying harder to get more/more accurate products.

Thanks! I haven't tried removing it yet. I was hoping to get the Muff emblem to do a follow up video including what removal would be like. I don't want my Batman without a symbol until then though!

Does the Mezco and bootleg have the same torso/head ball, the one that connects the neck and head aka whole cowl

Yep! I posted some pictures of that on my IG after someone mentioned wanting to see the Mezco JL Batman with the Muff head. I do think that the joint you're talking about is the slightest bit taller than the bootleg, but once you have it all together it isn't noticeable. My friend where do you recommend is the best and cheapest place To order the muff toys? EBay? Or is there any other cheaper sources? Any info is appreciated! I own the Mezco Batman so it would be an amazing improvement.

Can you put the muff toy batman with no neck articulation on the mezco and where can you get this

Unfortunately I don't have the one with no neck articulation. However, I did swap the one I did have onto the Mezco body. I have pictures posted on my community page as well as my Instagram page if you want to see those! As far as purchasing, I have a link in the description of the one I purchased in this video!

@@truyennguyen174 So the ball joint that is inside the torso/shoulders is close enough that you can put the whole head on the Mezco body. I'll link you to my IG post that shows it. If you're talking to swap JUST the head then I'm not sure if that will work. The joint comes out with the head of the Muff, but the Mezco head will come off with the joint inside the neck.
