This song reminds my why I wanted to get clean. I'm 29 and I've been an addict since I was a 16 with brief periods of recovery but eventual relapses. I relapsed last month after being clean for 3 years and I'm back in recovery. This song has been a huge comfort for me and the lyrics always hit me hard. I don't want to ever be back to that again.

Never stop fighting. It is a life long battle. When we fall there isn't time for us to start feeling sorry for ourselves. It is time we get back up. Always. I promise at NO point in your future or mine have we been sober long enough that we can now do it responsibly. I've used that excuse more than I wish to admit & it caused me to relapse every time. It is no longer an option. Value your sobriety like it is the most priceless gem in the world... cause it is.

Love the message of this. Takes the "hardcore" kid ideal and kinda takes a look in the mirror with it. Saying that his friends didn't change, but he did and he allowed his perceptions of his friends and his own choices to make him feel superior, then realizing it was him who should take a look at himself.
@havinfunfallin94582 жыл бұрын
I also think the song is about religion. Because he talks about “point the finger, reject the blame, I may cry out for help but I will never call your f-ing name.” And “I did away with the poison but I still feel like I’m dying.” Which I think he mean religion points the finger at you and you should reject that blame cause it’s not your fault, and obviously the person he won’t call out to is god. Plus I think the I did away with the poison, he means though he became an atheist the fear of death not only didn’t stop, it got worse because he has to deal with the fact that this life is it.
@520angling52 жыл бұрын

Yeah, s'all part of the culture?? I would do my level best to beat the shit out of someone if my nose got broken by this tardy behaviour... Jump around and have it but purposely hitting someone, as apparently it's acceptable, being all angsty and such... 😂 But fuck that... Makes no sense... That kinda behaviour turns one into a bitch and not my fellow man 👍 this is to release the stresses and unite, no? 🤔 Otherwise, fuck that self-destructive cycle. And btw, hip hop and hardcore go together, seperately, like 👌 beautiful!!

Literally just discovered Knocked Loose from a video titled "1 Band from every State" And me being a Kentucky native from Louisville (Loo-Vool) I had to check them out. I wasn't a that much of a fan of hardcore until I listened to them. Now I'm glad I discovered them!

Maybe I'm the one who's so full of shit Point the finger Reject the blame Dig deep in a heart that breaks No spine to be found Pick me up (pick me up off the ground) Maybe I'm the one who's so full of shit Point the finger Reject the blame All my friends who have wasted their lives We are one in the same I was too quick to judge We're all alone in this I put the drugs in between us I told myself that it changed you But I'm the one who changed Point the finger Reject the blame I call out for help But I'll never call your fucking name Anguish I did away with the poison But I still feel like I'm dying I did away with the poison But I still feel like I'm dying

I teach at an alternative school and literally every day there's a fight or some book being thrown (or a desk of it's that kinda day). I showed this video to one of the students and he was like "wait, shows you go to are really like this?" I replied, "only if they're good." He smiled. I think I made a fan.

brucenbrooklyn I'm sorry if I'm being an idiot now but what does "he actually plucks the top of his neck" mean?
@MarshallC3media7 жыл бұрын
StickToYourToms meaning that he went above the nut on the fret board. The nut is above the first fret. It just gives you a nasty ass sound. You'd get a similar effect by strumming below the bridge

Excavata bruh their stage was NOT large enough. They didn't anticipate the crowd they would gather. Merch tents got destroyed. People left on stretchers. It was beautiful.
@garrett42997 жыл бұрын
BTBAMsean I didn't expect these guys to blow up as big as they did. Their music is definitely not as accessible as something like microwave or Boston manor and yet, the heaviest band on the whole tour was the one to blow up 🤘🏼 definitely a win for heavy music!
