I did a 4 week tour and only brought 2 pairs of jeans, 10 pairs of underwear and socks, and like 8 shirts. I also only ever bring one pair of shoes, my vans in the summer and my boots in the winter.

My guess is that they tour in a bus now. Also, when this was filmed they could definitely afford a bus, but made the choice to rough it in a van to ensure they came home with money in their pockets at the end of the tour. Buses are extremely expensive and typically cost $1,000+ per day.
