Another great video as always. Just want to say, I love the energy and knowledge that your dad puts out on a daily basis. Reminds me so much of my father. We lost him when he was 69, and that was about 40 years ago. What a great father he was. Taught me so much.

I HATE T&L pivots. They are great when they are new but don’t last. I had 4 of them, got a good deal at the time. Within 10 years I had replaced all of them with Valleys. Now I have one left and they will be all in drip irrigation.

Did you apply fungicide to the beans? Its good for preventing disease but I have seen beans and corn treated with fungicide stay green alot longer. The grain will be dry and ready but the plants stay really green.
@peteparker7396Күн бұрын
You want no part of green soybeans. Stems won’t cut and you have all kinds of problems threshing them. Fungicide isn’t a cure all for every part of the country. It only works if there’s a disease of some sort

Question from someone who has never farmed more than a jalapeño plant in a pot. Is it possible to put the chemicals into the pivot to avoid using the sprayer?

Will the combine not process green leaves even when beans are.ready?
@1striperon22 сағат бұрын
Blame this question on my ignorance. Why can't your combine handle the soybean leaves and send them out the back? It always amazes that your sprayer can apply herbicide at 2.5 ounces per acre, (for example).

Good morning from Oklahoma Granny. Daniel, your drone footage is always amazing! I’m amazed at how concentrated the defoliant is. What is the cost per acre to spray the defoliant?
