I served as a missionary around those parts from '90-92 and seeing the scenery brings back a LOT of memories. My closest areas to you were in Butler and Kittanning. I also served in Pittsburgh 1st ward along with like 13-14 other missionaries for about 6 months. That learned me real quick I didn't want to live in a big city. Anyway, thanks for providing a small trip down memory lane. I fell behind on your videos and now I'm playing catch-up.

It's so nice that the shed is up and what I've been anticipating for so long is now in process! It's gonna be so grand when all is complete. Will there be gutters on the shed? You were explaining how you'll put in a swell here and there....of course you'll get the grade done right - you ARE the expert on your equipment and you have the knowledge, it will be right. What a great time to help your neighbors, Thanksgiving. Don't we all know your neighbors and friends are so thankful for you Melissa. I sure am. I'm thankful for you providing such awesome content for all of us so we have something nice to watch as opposed to the made up fake and stupid commercialized crap on regular TV. Great Outdoors stuff, that's truly a winner for everyone. Some of us can't get out and do anymore, so maybe we appreciate you a little extra, but clearly this channel is fast approaching half a million subscribers so that says all kinds of people are enjoying your posts. Thank you so much for sharing Mike and allowing us to be part of the Morgan clan for what, 5 going on 6 years now! No worries about this channel coming off the top of my favorites list! Hey Mike, the eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity you bring to bear to dig and move dirt, and scoop and spread gravel to improve your property and keep your neighbors happy and safe is nothing short of remarkable. Although some might question the purchase of such high-priced "big boy toys" to "git-er done", no one can argue with the final "lay of the land." Your display of machinery mastery is truly like watching a back country ballet without the frills.

Yeah I really enjoy watching Mike help out the neighbors especially little old ladies who really need someone to care for them like that. I guarentee she really appreciates it a ton because her driveway was getting really bad rutted up and the winter would have made it even worse. I remember back in the 60's & 70's my dad a little farmall tractor with a few attachments for making gardens and I would go with him down town to plow and disk gardens every spring to help the older age people in town.I really enjoyed going along with him and it taught me to care and do for others when possible. I enjoy watching when mellisa videos you working in the machinery looks cool the way she moves with the machine.makes it look like it's a drone following you around. Thanks Morgan's 👍

Possible fix for the neighbors driveway would be something similar to an angled speed bump to divert surface water at top of driveway, and then 'crown' the driveway itself so water automatically runs off to each side anytime moisture is present. Standing and/or running water are the two biggest enemies of any drivng surface.

Your neighbor appears to have a pretty good gully trying to form on her drive. Nice to have neighbors helping neighbors. Down the street from my house there is a neighbor who transports tractors and other farm equipment. He graded my rock drive (about 40 yards long) several years ago for which I paid him. A few weeks ago I asked him to grade it again when he had another tractor with a blade on it. To my surprise he did just that the other day. I thought the city had done the work til I ran into him at Walmart. Asked him how much I owed him and the reply was "nothing". He said he would come and do a better job the next time he had a bigger tractor with a blade on his truck. That's a very good neighbor.

I have a cabbed Kubota B3030 and I can attest to the heat of the heater. Most winter days, I run with the heater off due to the body heat in the cab. Instead of loading the tires with beet juice, I would advise you to check out foaming them instead. I know it may be a rougher ride and more expensive. However, those monster rear tires will never need air and you can run over nails and never get them flat.
@bighoss85182 жыл бұрын
Just a suggestion on the sides of your buildiing that your thinking of covering with a wall you might want to think about adding large garage door(s) so that you can open the door(s) as need for letting air flow through or possibly coming in and out of as needed.

Illinois deer firearm season is always the weekend before Thanksgiving and 2 weeks later. The only thing I didn't like about it, was when I worked for a living I wished they would start it on Saturday and finish on Monday, instead of Friday thru Sunday. I figured that way, if you tagged out Saturday or Sunday, you wouldn't have to burn a vacation day.

Suggest some 4" steel posts set in concrete on the perimeter of the support poles of your new structure. With equipment operating it's just a matter of time until one gets whacked or worse. Once you figure out vehicle workflow, add posts to sides and inside of the traffic areas.
