You probably already know this trick, but regarding sleep when you travel - there is a free app called Relax Melodies that you can use for white noise. We use it when we travel, even camping because my kids go to bed really early. It covers most noises so we sleep peacefully.

Oof that looked like a hard landing! Eve is so spirited it’s fantastic! I’ve been exploring over the last couple of days in the Lake District England but unfortunately we’ve had 2 consecutive storms so most of the rivers had burst their banks and most paths were flooded so it was a bit hard to adventure some areas! The poor sheep looked so soaked and cold!

Thanks for another great video! Regarding seat belts in taxi's. My experience is that the seat belts are inaccessible. It is what it is. I grew up in the fifties. No seat belts than either. Though of course I use one now when available.

I love watching your family adventures and so would love to travel. RV travel is still my dream....but it's been on hold for years due to medical issues and surgeries of so many in our family. Hubby and I had thought we would sell our home, but God had different plans. With 6 kids now ages 23-6, 4 whom are adopted from China, we had expected to be done adopting, but now are considering adding more adopted kids. Add in our Chinese born kids love their house here, so I am not sure when travel will ever happen. Our kids love vacationing a few hours from home, but would likely hate anything farther.😔 Our group here are turning into serious home bodies. We even consider still, building yet another home with lots of acreage, and still, they would prefer to stay put. LOL. I enjoy watching you all, because It has really helped me imagine how my family would handle situations you all are in. And I realized RV travel would be it....probably a trip back to China, but honestly, my entire family woukd never survive and thrive the way you all have. Hubby and I realize much as we would love to take off and go, our kids want a permanent, stable, unchanging house. We have built 3 brand new homes and lived in rentals in between, the kids hated moving, and so we have been here 5 years. Lasted the longest, 7.5 years in one of our homes but it looks like this may be the last house for us. Hubby put in major kid and fun things here, huge pool and massive playground, homeschool classroom, sensory rom, indoor jacuzzi room, massage room, prayer room, game room, etc....and none of the kids want to give any of it up!!!! Sheesh, my kids think the same old beach is enough for them. 😄 I would love to see a video of how your kids handle travel, how they adapt to travel as well.....etc.....

It's so fun watching your family travel. What great memories you will have when you're old. BTW why dont you mail the extra bag/souvenirs home. Probably cheaper than checking extra bags plus less to carry around. I did that one year from Switzerland and it worked really well. Safe travels.

We’re driving down to Austria tomorrow (from Holland) to go skiing. We do this every year, I have a list on my computer so I know I am not forgetting anything, we have a comfortable hotel at our halfway point that we know and like, I am fairly fluent in German, plus all we will be doing is skiing down an alp or two (or three). Also we only have one kid with us. Yet, I am probably more stressed out about the whole thing than you are on your great adventure in Peru.... I don’t know how you do it!
