I work in a restaurant in Denver Colorado and have repaired many things with the amazing Prusa printer. From clips for panels on doors, two lost space heater buttons. Thank you Joe Prusa for this machine.

This should be recommended to the "Deutsche Bahn" 😘
@random_user_2023 Жыл бұрын
Deutsche Bahn relies very heavily on 3D printing. More than 500 use cases have been realized and > 100,000 parts 3D printed. 12 different AM technologies can be used. Safety and fire protection are the 1st priority, which is why the requirements are very high. Just google 'Deutsche Bahn 3D-Druck'.

I was surprised that the majority of new of ticket terminals in Czechia (buses, parking meters, trams too) use 3D printed parts or are entirely 3D printed Really cool to see

This is very dear to me, as I was the one pushing during my internship, to get them to buy their first printer, back when it was DSB!

3d printing is such a useful tool in a workshop or on a production floor. We save a huge amount of money and time each year thanks to ordinary FDM (FFM) printing with ordinary (PETG, ABS+) materials.

That huge printer enclosure for such a small printer doesn't make sense to me... Wouldn't it make more sense to make CoreXY with the frame as the enclosure?
@Neo1983m Жыл бұрын
This is probably the most inappropriate and unnecessary comment. This is not about the enclosure nor and the size of the printer. Your comment simply does not belong here. If you are dissatisfied with something, write to support or Josef Prusa directly.
@user-lx9jm1wo3h Жыл бұрын
@@Neo1983m Huh? How is it inappropriate? The enclosure looks huge in their shop, and it just seems like it is taking up way too much space. Sounds like you are taking my comment way too personal.
@timkoehler3669 Жыл бұрын
Well bed slingers always physically require larger enclosures. But it’s about the whole ecosystem, rather than the space required.

cool but this isn't unique to prusa make newer stuff that can compete with creality and bambulab (especially multi material and enclosed printers) and stop resting on your laurels
@LilApe Жыл бұрын
They did, it's called the MK4 and prusa XL.
@senurasenaratne5782 Жыл бұрын
Yeah but this is a advertisement for their flame retardant filament. Bamboo nor creality has that
@vlcekmlcek3393 Жыл бұрын
Bambulab isn't as good as Prusa MK4, because it is closed system, it cannot be repaired as easy as Prusa. Also, there will be definitely future upgrades for Prusa MK4, something that isn't possible with Bambulab. They are only trying to copy others, like every chinesse company. Why to support such company.
@Neo1983m Жыл бұрын
@@vlcekmlcek3393 And dont forget. Speed is not all. Higher print speed make the printed part more weak. An especially in industy and production is more stability better. The printspeed is negligible.

Stop barking at Bambu Lab, they are making real printers, unlike your DIY project)
@eXe09 Жыл бұрын
What makes them "real printers" exactly?
@timkoehler3669 Жыл бұрын
Without prusa there would not be companies like Bambu lab. Even though bambu might be better in some areas, prusa simply and always work for years. As a plus everything is open source. Yes you pay more for a printer but you also pay for years and years of experience gathered by a huge print farm building the parts for new 3d printers.
