Karl and EC have been one of their biggest influences, at least for Colin. Don't you think they'd get excited when interviewing the frontman of one of the most influential hardcore bands, maybe ever? I think they just wanted to convey how important EC was important to them and how they could relate. No offense intended, I just think there was misinterpretation.

Kudos to the Knotfest crew letting them give these bands some more exposure. You can be jaded and bitch all you want, but I'm sure plenty of kids are getting into hardcore because of this channel.
