I worked at Knotts in June 1983 when Camp Snoopy first opened.

I have to say... they need a redo of the opening once it is fully open (I mean all rides, no walls, all scenery are fixed and the camp snoopy theater fixed). Also, they need to issue an apology to this mess. I'm so sorry for the experience

Its not even finished. No water falls were working, the clock they promised to bring back was not even there, Snoopy on his canoe has not been replace and his water fall not even working, theater was not even built. tacky picnic area with no shade at all, Sally's swing not even ready, train was not ready, the new meet and greet area promised and the barrel bridge they showed in the video not open, people were told they could not ride the coaster after waiting a hour to ride it, then you go to see the 2 Snoopy cartoons they are showing and you get kicked out of the air conditioned theater and told to come back to see the 2nd cartoon in 30 min. WHAT? why dont they just let you stay in there or continuously run the cartoons. It was a complete embarrassment and made Knotts look more ghetto then they already are. Great job Knotts, I would have much rather waited till fall or winter to make it more complete. Its like the disaster when Light Magic opened at Disneyland and how bad that was. Just my opinion only.

WOW...what a major embarrassment on Knott's part. Why on earth did they have a "grand re-opening" when half the area was still under construction? But the worst part of all was the former Camp Snoopy Theatre location. Please tell me the new area is not finished yet, cuz it looks horrible! There is absolutely NO charm or style to what Knott's did to it. It lacks everything and looks ghetto! Personally, between the obvious budget cuts and "quick fix", this is a total let down. Shame on Knott's, cuz their guests deserve better!
