Knott's Drops A New Season Pass 2024!

We’re definitely upgrading to the Prestige. It has so many perks that benefit us as often as we go. The Preferred Parking, Preferred Entry, VIP area and Single Use Fast Lane every visit are worth it alone for us. The preferred entry is really only going to benefit people that go first thing in the morning (that’s us), because that’s when you’ll be able to bypass the long lines of people with paper tickets and needing their pictures taken. Also, even though your pass doesn’t expire until December, it’s better to renew earlier. Remember the prices increase as time goes on so renewing now is the lowest price of the season! And, you can add the 2024 Scary Farm add on too. That’s possible to sell out if you wait too long to renew.

How is prestige working out? I saw on another video someone mentioned the fast lane isn’t available every visit, mainly weekends and holidays. Is this true?

The "Fast-lane perk" is a SINGLE USE per visit, Mondo. NOT the $675 one you can use all day. I find it hard to believe everybody's "raving" about the $350 pass. They LITERALLY took away a bunch of stuff in the past couple of years and now added a "special entrance" and "vip area" to a pass that's $250 more and people don't see what they did? The "special entrance" is probably a turnstile at the front that has a sign that says "Prestige Pass" on it. I've never waited more than a couple minutes at the front to get in, so that's not needed. And does nobody remember that the passes ALREADY INCLUDED two buddy passes a couple of years ago? PLUS the platinum pass had a 15-20% discount on food/Merch which they took away last year, and now, not even the "Prestige Pass" gets more than 10%. The Parking lot across beach is NOT that far, it's probably the same distance. These "perks" are just empty fluff for $350. Not attacking YOU, just cant believe anyone would be "raving" over a way more expensive pass with nothing of ACTUAL value added to it. C'mon. At LEAST bring back the 20% merch discount. Actually reward your most loyal customers!

I’m leaning on just keeping the cheap pass and adding meal plan, parking and soda. I just have to do the math and see which one makes more sense

Dang alright I see you! The demand must be there if Knotts is offering this new pass. And it’s still pretty reasonably priced, but those add ones can really add up quickly, prestige + express + meal plan + drink plan easily makes it a $1200 pass. But hey if someone goes as often as you do that’s still only about $18 a visit so not bad when you look at the long run! Thank you for sharing this update with all of us Mondo!

The upgraded drink plan is good for hot drinks. That works for me because I like coffee and hot chocolate when it gets cold at night. I usually get hot drinks from Sept - Apr and the Merry Farm drink cup only covers Nov - Jan. I think the VIP entrance works like the one at Magic Mountain. It's a dedicated line. Knott's will provide it for the first 2 hours when the lines tend to be long. I have no idea what the VIP area or the perks are.

The Prestige pass sucks compared to what the Diamond pass at Six Flags Magic mountain has to offer lol cant believe all 3 passes at knotts offer the same 10 percent off only! they used to differ by the type of pass u had ....also Six Flags Flash pass doesn't have black out dates! And whats this i hear Knotts doesn't offer the souvenir cup anymore?? Id rather do the extra driving to go to Six flags instead of Knotts ....they offer waay more for a bit less .....but thank you for your video bro 👍

So i have to say that I got the Prestige + for this year 2023. It was totally worth it if you have the money. You can split the payment up to 12 months so it makes it affordable. It also gave me all those same perks at the other Cedar Fair Parks. I will also say that I did purchase the Dining and Drink plan as well as Fast Lane Plus. I did this because I wanted to hit multiple parks and ride as much as I possibly could. I was able to get out to Carowinds, King's Island, Knotts Berry Farm (finally), and Worlds of Fun (my home park).

We are not renewing our MK. We are going to purchase Knotts passes. Is there a big difference between the parks? I cannot remember the last time I was at Knotts.

I'll get the Prestige Pass, I like that I get preferred parking, meal plan, Funpix and the drink plan( hopefully they have a season bottle?) I go a lot with the grandkids and I use preferred parking every time I go.

You don’t get the meal plan, funpix, or the drink plan with the pass. Those are all add ons for an additional charge. Regarding the season bottle I’m sure they will have it as an option when the year 2024 starts because obviously they can’t sell you the cups for next year yet. Honestly though I think the paper cups are way better because you don’t have to worry about carrying that big plastic bottle or forgetting it somewhere.

Fast lane is unlimited rides for rides that offer fast lane. Try $999 for the all park version 😅. Prestige seems like good value at knotts since parking isnt included for knotts gold like it is at other cedar fair parks.

$350? Over three times the price? There are no blackout days with the purple or gold, and I could pay the season pass discount rate of the additional $20 for preferred parking. I don’t think one fast lane per day is worth the extra money and I can t imagine the VIP area being all that. Not worth it for us. Disney pricing at Knott’s. 😂

Definitely depends how often you go because 5 visits of preferred parking is already $100 so if you go more than 10-15 times in the entire year I definitely see the savings.

I’ve been a Knott’s pass holder since 2017. The changes Knott’s did to the park entertainment had me becoming magic key holder (with lots of built in perks) this year. I just renewed my Knott’s pass at Prestige level for the preferred parking and early entry, the single use fast pass will probably be used for the log ride. Hopefully Knott’s brings back the stunt show, Mystery Lodge , a daily saloon show, and beach blanket beagle ( summer show). Ghost Town Alive is still part of my favorite summer experience. I thought I’d never be a magic key holder again. My last Disney pass was back in 2007. But here I am getting my entertainment value from my new pass. The Magic Happens Parade and Rogers Musical did not disappoint. Knott’s prestige pass is definitely worth it, about the same cost as a 3 day Calif resident ticket ($83 + parking per day x 3 days)

I hate that they replaced the platinum pass with this prestige pass. It had free parking included and had 2 bring a friend tickets as well. I don’t think it’s worth the extra $100. Btw the locker add on has been there. I have it and it’s very useful to have in case you don’t want to be walking with bags or backpack.
