this is my first gun i got it because not only did they say its poly so its less likely to break and its a good beginner gun but because it looks and feels good while also being good on the range and is accurate I love it and regret nothing with it and I would recommend others to get this as a first pistol

Thank you for pointing out that the mag has a hold-down for the follower spring. This is important for speed of loading and a big help to people with, um, ageing hands. Healthy for your thumbnails too. Could you please make it a point to mention this in your reviews, as this feature is too often overlooked. It will be appreciated by a lot of us.

Can't see the fuss about lack of metal slide. On gbb's, plastic often performs better. In any case, this slide is way more solid than any Marui one. Their slides seem like toys in comparison. This is a very solid gun.

Definitely love the looks, and the things they have incorporated from other pistols. But man, everything you said about the trigger I didn't like! The fact that you have to adjust your finger in such an odd way from any other pistol would be annoying. Plus, the trigger guard issue would probably hurt your finger after a while. I would have to try the gun out for myself, but as do now, I'm a "No". 1:53 (Exactly what I would've done.)

Looks cool, but I don't know how I feel about the safety. I like how it's not where it is in the back as a lever, but at the same time it seems weird as a shotgun safety. Do you guys know if you will do a review on the new Smith and Wesson M&P9 pistol that is coming out? (I forgot the specific name, I think it's a competition Airsoft pistol being made by umarex, but I may be wrong.)
@torontoairsoft60365 жыл бұрын
The safety is nice because it almost never comes on by accident, and yet its super easy to activate without shifting your grip. Only downside we see is everyone things its the mag release XD We'll have to see if its Canada complaint.
@mass45525 жыл бұрын
G&G are getting into the habit of making everything proprietary on their guns. You can only use OEM mags. You can't use an after market suppressor. Only the tracer unit they offer. They did change the composition of the slide. Maybe to combat the issue of their metal slides not locking back when empty. (ie: GPM92) But that is my fault. I was using the recommended gas all the time except once I used propane. (It's true. A G&G tech told me.) I guess Jet Desert Fox review wasn't accurate when it failed on unboxing on camera. They took off the rail under the barrel. Maybe now the new gun can fit one of the Kydex holsters on the market. And once again I'm looking at the GPM92. They make great rifles but their pistols are something else.
@h4melp6125 жыл бұрын
i understand the OEM mags but nothing else makes any sence lmao edit: also cant you just get a 12mm to 14mm converter thingy, sure it might be an inconvience but cmon
@mass45525 жыл бұрын
If you want a suppressor (or silencer) you have to make your own. The barrel threads are an odd size and there is none made to fit it. (12mm counter clockwise compared to the common 14mm counter clockwise thread) G&G only offer a tracer unit (a unit that screws on and uses an led to make the bb's glow) at a ridiculous price. On this pistol the slide is made of a different material. The previous version of this gun is the GPM92. The slides weren't consistently locking back when the mag was empty. (ie: barely ever.) When I sent it to a G&G tech he said it was because I had used propane in the mag once. Jet Desert Fox (a popular KZbinr who has served in the military) unboxed the GPM92 it failed to lock back. And he was using green gas as I did but apparently it was my fault that the gun was not working correctly. And the GPM92 could not fit into any Kydex holsters on the market made to fit the M9 models by other company's. The rail that mounts the lights/lasers or other toys under the barrel is slightly wider than any other replica on the market. A local airsoft field owner showed me a modified holster that I got to fit my GPM92 so I had a holster that locked my pistol in and it is flawless in operation and I won't lose it while running. I was using a pistol leash (An actual paddle leash used by kayakers or paddle boarders which is much cheaper.) to secure the gun to my body before, but that will come off. The previous post was a rant on the GPM92 and my hopes that the GTP9 does not suffer from the problems of their previous version of the Beretta 9MM. I hope this helps you.

Hmm, yes we are a retailer, but we aim to make reviews as objective as possible. What exactly makes this gun "a piece of shit"? Vince thought the trigger could use some work, and the hopup was a little weird, but it shoots well, decent efficiency, good tolerances. Parts are tough, but its an all new design. What did we miss?
