I have a question or two that I need your answers to: Upon commencement of filling the CAS Shield, can I Save & Continue, logout, and login at random (next convenient time) to continue with the CAS Shield application without the risk of jeopardising the process? Also, is there a timeframe from when I first login to the CAS Shield to when I have to complete the process? Guys, some universities want transactions or withdrawals within 28 days. Make sure if they want the money to stay still or the opposite. Because I've waited 28 for nothing. Now I don't know what to do. Because if I make any transaction from my account, I will have to wait another 28 days for visa application and my course starts on 4 September... I hope BCU understands my situation. Wish me luck and be careful.

@@study_abroad_with_maxxcell As you know, our tuition fees and living costs have to stay in our bank account for 28 days without any transaction. When I got my unconditional offer, I paid my deposit and my 28 days started the day after. At the end of it, I got my bank document which shows the money stayed still since last month including currency, bank stamp, signature etc. Then I uploaded it for CAS but they rejected it. They said I needed to make a transaction or deposit payment in the first 14 days and a withdrawal in the last 14 days. However, they have no information on their website regarding this. Now, I don't know what to do because I can not wait another 28 days for the visa if I make transactions in my account to get CAS.

@ there is a section where you have to put the total amount and then in another section it asks you for the details. There you have to provide both bank details and amount separately which should be the same as the total amount

I’m happy I got to watch this. A quick one. I’m completing my CAS task list and I’m at financials (funding part) Say I don’t include my partner and dependents now as I start studies in September 2023. And they join in 2024 say March. With the new restrictions of dependents not allowed on student visa law from January 2024, with my predicament will they be allowed to join me in the UK considering l initially on my CAS application I said not coming with dependents? Universities have their own modus operandi. For example, as per 2023 updates, Bristol University does not need any Financial Documents for the CAS. But, University of Greenwich required Financial Statement for CAS. You have to check as per the University.

In spouse case, Funds should be either in your account or in Bank account of your spouse. Rest all the steps will be same.

There is nothing you can do to increase the percentage of CAS. % of CAS on the CAS shield just show that how far has your profile reached to the CAS team. If they need any other documents then you will get a message or email by the team. To reduce the turn around time for CAS, make sure all your documents are in right format. CAS is needed only for the study VISA purpose. If you don’t need VISA then CAS is not needed.

Hi Dear, CAS Team works in a separate department than admission team. It is normal to receive a CAS Shield link at this stage. But, you will be able to complete the CAS form and receive the CAS statement. only when you have relevant documents to fulfill the condition of your conditional offer letter.

That must be due to the high volume of CAS requests at this point in time. I had a similar case where it has taken almost a month time. You have to have faith and patience. If there is any missing information in the CAS shield then the LMU Cas team will inform you. You can expect a positive response in a week time.

CAS is assessed by CAS team of the respective University and VISA application is assessed by UKVI. Having CAS statement with you does not guarantee VISA. If you provide sufficient documents with your VISA application then I am very positive about your VISA outcome. Wish you all the best!
