Great reaction to this 2 versions. Vocalise is my favorite. He performs it differently in every concert. This is actually a cover and originally sung by Lara Fabian. But of course Dimash has hus own touch to every songs he sings.

Dimash. The Golden Eagle from Kazakhstan. Unmatched vocals. Perfection personified.. You don't have to make excuses for your reactions. It's your channel and it is good enough for me. Dimash performs the vocalise version at every concert and does different improvisations every time, so it's always amazing and never boring. In some versions he has high notes and staccato, in others something different. but no matter what he does - it's always beautiful and never repeats itself. This is one of my favorite songs by Dimash.

I agree with you, it *is* like two different songs. The basic structure of this Igor Krutoy composition is the same in both; but the instrumentation, arrangement, and of course no lyrics in the Kyev version, make each of the versions unique. For me, the live version is much more organic, ethnic, and closer to Dimash's heart. I actually love both versions!

I notice you have commented on how he goes up in range in a way that doesn’t make sense some times, like he is showing off. Maybe he is somewhat, but not many if any songs have been written for Dimash’s huge singing range, please forgive him for improvising and adding to the songs he sang- especially during I Am Singer competition! Now he has Igor to write songs that cover his whole range and make sense as a proper progression. His fans like to hear everything he is capable of. He is different in this way than anyone in the world, I’m sure! I like really your thoughtful reactions a lot though!

The live version is one of my favorite Dimash performances! I don't really care for the MV at all because it distracts from the vocalization, in my opinion.

The last one took place on September 23 in Kazakhstan, Dimash's homeland; in the city of Almaty in the south of the country. All dears are waiting for the release of a professional video recording of this concert. And finally, they announced that on December 31, on the New Year holiday, a video recording of the concert will be shown on the state television channel QAZAQSTAN. There will be a double celebration! The broadcast time has not yet been announced, but we are watching the TV program and announcements in Dimash's accounts.
