I’m glad they were all on the second season cause it turned into the best season with all of them and the most unforgettable! I watched the first season and can’t really remember all the dancers like I can the 2nd season!

I agree, in SWF1 I can only remember 5 dancers but in SWF2 there are multiple of them. I also think that SWF2 is the better season because Lia Kim's name carries a lot of weight in the industry so naturally it brought in more viewers.

@@daeng2989 yes it might be memorable to many still, mainly in Korea, but on a global stand most international viewers didn’t know about the show until SWF2 came out. Proof of that is the different choreographies people around the world are still doing from SWF2 on social media platforms & The amount of followers the dancers now have then they did before the show.

I truly like Lia Kim's personality even if she's not perfect but in a way that she could handle herself well. She's the mother of Kpop dance, but when she joined SWF2 alongside her younger crews, she tried to be wiser and get along. She took her fails with ease and tried to rebound with an impeccable Mega Crew & Hwasa's Chilli chalenges. I even think she's better than Monika in dancing, she was the one who brought popping to SK fyi.

Even though she's better than Monika, the battle between Lia and Mina was messy. Many of the audience agreed with what Monika said, and so did I. Plus, Monika said she started a dance because Lia. She respected Lia so much until now. Unsurprisingly, Lia made a more significant move in dance society than Monika.

Beside Mina Young Battle, her other battle performances are good, but she is not as good as she used to be. She was a beast battler in the past but yes, she is still better than monika

I'm glad S2 members were rejected or didnt appear on the first season cz I can't imagine season 1 members with any other cast. To me swf1 is just legendary with the perfect cast. S2 is good too

nah, still too early for an all stars season. there’s also the thing that’s the biggest block of that ever happening: most crews have been vocal about not wanting to go back to join even if it was offered. filming takes a really long time, and in between that most dancers also have day jobs. almost everyone got sick or injured in one way or the other while on the show because of how stressful and grueling it was.

SWF2 dancers are closer to the public compared to SWF1. The production just gathered a lot of already publicly well-recognized dancers ( more commercial (?)). Plus, 2 global crews??? I can see they gave it all in S2. Ofc,S1 dancers were also famous but S2 dancers just had considerable popularity among people outside dance community.

@@Maria-zs8heit’s not the same 😭 monika and lia are in different genres, unlike rozalin and lip j, and rather than having a teacher-student relationship they’re colleagues at best since they were in the dance industry for roughly around the same time along with the older wolflo members, buckey, and honey j. monika’s skillsets are in krumping (former teammates with buckey in woofam), hiphop (close friends with the older wolflo members especially chocol and babysleek, and honey j), and contemporary (what she does now), while lia is in popping and choreo. that’s like comparing oil and water when they’re two different substances lmfaooo

The best don't always win in competitions though. In swf2, waackxxxy, yoonji and cera are some of the best dancers and could smoke anyone in a freestyle but that doesn't mean they'll win the competition though. In other famous reality shows like The Voice/American Idol (the season with Adam Lambert comes to mind who went to tour with Queen later on and no one remembers who even won in that season), some of the most memorable and arguably the best singers didn't always win either. Not to take away from the deserved winners but at times these shows aren't the most fair and all the participants are very knowledgeable of their craft meaning that regardless of whether one is a better dancer/not, they are definitely capable of being on the judging panel.
