Knowing God as Our Father - Dr. Charles Stanley

I tried my best to bond with my son, I show him I loved him, i read him bedtime stories every night till he began to read to me. I taught him about God and how to pray. We went to church. However, I was a babe in Christ myself and didn’t do everything righteously. We both were called by Holy Spirit to be baptized together. After that we were tossed into the wilderness. In the end as a teenager he disconnected to me, went into rebellion and had been very oppositional and defiant. It caused my heart to harden the things he would say about me and made ppl look at me like a monster. Because I disciplined him in an attempt to keep him from being kicked out of school several times. He didn’t see any of it for his good and the anger he had from his father choosing not to be a daddy to him, so he has been a prodigal since he was 17yo No amount of counseling helped the rage he had against me. The Bible says discipline your children, train them up the way they should go, and God says “I will teach your children and they will be blessed” I will see my son again someday soon. ❤

Never knew my human father. I am blessed to have a much better Father. I depend on HIM for everything, as well as Jesus and the Holy Spirit. They are my only family, everyone else has died. Without the Holy Trinity, I would be so lonely. Separation from them would be unfathomable.

Brandy, Charles Standley leaves out so much of Gods word it is unbelievable. Are You Really Saved? Did you Obey the word of God or a Preacher? First of all I am not judging anyone because I’m not the judge and I attend the Church of Christ because it accepts all of what Gods tell’s us to do to be saved. How important is the (Word Of God) to you? I’ve talked to a lot of people that say they are saved, “that as long as they believe in God and live a Christian life they will go to Heaven.” They say, “God is forgiving, God is good, he want punish you for something small as being Baptized, or what Gospel you believe. That’s sounds great but what if they are wrong? What if getting to Heaven depends on believing and obeying all of the Word of God. If believing is all we need to do there will be millions and millions of people that go to Heaven. Jesus Christ said, “ Only a few will be saved”.(Luke 13/23-24). Truth is, millions of people are going to Denominational Church’s run and ruled by earthly men. They preach and teach a different Gospel leaving out a lot of God’s word. Christ said, “if an angel or anyone preaches a different Gospel than I have told you let them be accursed. (Gal 1/8). Less take a look at some people that believed in God but didn’t listen to God. When an Angel from God told Lot and his wife that God said to leave Sodom and not look back because God was going to destroy the City. Did God mean what he said?, Surely God wouldn’t punish anyone for (simply turning around and looking), did he forgive her? NO!, Because she turned around and looked, God turned her into a Pillar Of Salt that is still standing there today. There was also Adan and Eve that believed in God but didn’t listen to God and ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge. For that little mistake they were put out of the Garden of Eden to die just because they didn’t obey God. Did God forgive them? No!. Also there was Moses God told to speak to the rock and water would come forth. Moses struck the rock with his staff. A very little mistake but for this little mistake did God forgive him? No!. God didn’t let Moses enter the Promus land. The (Word Of God) tells us in Rev. 22/18-19 not to leave any of God’s word out of the (Word Of God), if we do he will leave us out of the book of life. He also tells us not to add anything to the (Word Of God) or he will add the plagues that written in the book to our life. The Denominational Church’s, preach what they want to preach to gain members. According to the word of God there is only One Body, One Lord< One Faith and One Baptism. (Ephes. 4/5-6). People don’t realize it but the Church Christ talked about building is his Body. (Ephes.1/22-23) tells us Jesus is over everything concerning his Church (Which is his Body) and the Bibles says there is only One Body, not two or three, only One. Does that mean there is only one Church God will recognize, According to the Bibles, YES. Christ Church is made up of people that have believed and obeyed all of God’s word, ”We are told to be baptized for the remission of our sins and God will send us the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) to dwell within us as a comforter to remind us of the things Christ said. At that time we are added to the Body of Christ which is not a building. We worship in a building that wears his name, the Church of Christ but we could worship in a Cornfield.

Just as Jesus called out Abba [Father] His relationship to the Father [was different than ours] he expresses as MY Father...he told us [children of God] to pray "Our Father". Only Jesus can address the Father as My Father. In other words, Jesus is the only begotten SON OF GOD. We are all Gods children.
