If you work abroad, in our Filipino tradition, it is a common belief that you extend your hands to family members... they expect too much from you. Thanks God, I was able to help in my humble way.I am now retired and their expectations continues. Thank you Fr. Dave for your advises. I now prioritize my relationship with Our Lord Triune God seeking the intercession of Our Blessed Mother and Holy St. Joseph, and pray for those who continue to expect to much from me. The essential for us seniors is our intimate relationship with Our Lord Triune God. For our fortunate Pilgrims, please include in your daily prayers our brothers and sisters who could not afford to be in those holy places. But please guide them to know that they don't need to go farther but be in the presence of Our Lord in front of the Blessed Sacrament.

So glad to be part of this pilgrimage and able to meet Fr. Danichi. Thank God for making this possible and allowing me to visit Rome and the Vatican again after 5 years. As Fr Dave said in another homily back in Holy Land, there's a reason why we all survive the pandemic years. It's up to us to find our purpose-driven lives & start sharing the blessedness of that reasons.
