Dont worry about being boring. Thing you got to know about the people watching this kind of content... We like the boring stuff. We want to be educated, not entertained. Youre doing a great job. you as a person running a business selling pokemon cards, getting your perspective is invaluable to anyone wanting to get into the same business. You are saving them time and money, giving them each a better chance at succeeding. Thank you!

Love this series! Thank you so much for all of the info. I am sure I'm not the only one who has found it useful. I used to buy / sell sports cards via Ebay and forums, 15 to 20 years ago. I recently decided to start selling some of the bigger hits I get doubles of, and didn't even know about TCGPlayer until recently watching you. Keep up the hustle, and thank you.

Great and very informative video Danny. You are always dropping bombs my man. I didn’t even think about selling on Amazon. Makes a lot of sense about parents. They’re going to trust a product on Amazon way before eBay and the def wont know about TCG player. I think prices are higher on Amazon at least for the lesser expensive items is because of the referral fee and the membership fees they charge. 15% for the portion of the total sales price up to $100 · 10% for any portion of the total sales price greater than $100 up to $1,000 · 6% for any portion of the total sales price greater than $1,000 and the membership fee is 99. cent each sale or 39.99 per month. Seems like the fees are higher than eBay which is I know is 10 percent each sale item. Seems like Amazon would be more beneficial for higher cost sales and eBay may be better for your lower tier. Cuz a $2,000 on Amazon looks like it’ll be at 6 percent would be 120 + $39 or 99 cent per transaction And 2,000 on eBay would be $200 VS a $99 on Amazon would be $14.85 plus 99 cent per transaction And a $99 on eBay would be 9.90 cents One question on the Amazon side of things is “does the percentage go off of each items cost individually or the total monthly cost of goods sold?” It say “portion of the total sales price” but still don’t know what exactly that means.

I agree the bundles are more profitable as you pay less shipping fees and other fees but the buyer gets a better deal every time. That’s a good thing. The single sells can take more time as not everyone looks for all Pokémon cards singles instead the most valuable or their favorites.

Comc is been around for years and starting to see a lot of Pokémon singles. The headache for everyone is the shipping cost, COMC eliminates that issue. Plus they list it for you for 35¢, there business model is so convenient. I’ve been selling on eBay for years but I may take my $3-$20 cards there.

Hey! Thanks for the great content, as always :D I have some Mewtwo & Mew GXs that I'm thinking of selling and saw they go for a ton on Amazon compared to Ebay/TCGPlayer, and I know you mentioned Amazon as a nice option for selling cards in this video. Do you have any tips on how to get started specifically with selling cards on Amazon? In the past I've watched videos of people who sold misc things on Amazon and had trouble with Amazon's extremely lenient return policy, but I'm wondering if independent card sellers face the same issues or not.

Question for potential QNA?: Hey Danny, I just got into the trading card game business. I have done other stuff in the past but this is new aside from collecting. Working on getting my resale cert to distributors, but for just selling single cards on tcgplayer, WHAT price do you choose for shipping considering I run .99 cents on cards that are not worth a ton, but if someone comes in and buys 10 cards, but because its the same order its only .99 shipping, what do YOU set your shipping to on TCG player?

I bought all 16 Holos from unlimited base set for $215 off craigslist the charizard was probably the worst shape charizard I’ve seen several creases and scratches. I sold the the 3 starters the same night for a combined 377$ and have sold 4 others since. Now I’m just trying to find more. That’s though tough part. But personally buying from Craigslist and Facebook seems far more profitable because you’re competing against a much smaller customer base.

Hi, I am watching you for a couple of weeks now. Great content you serve, sir. I have a question for you - how to do these things you're talking about when you're not living in the US? I am from Poland and I've found it so difficult to flip cards, because the polish market is slow, and polish people rather don't use ebay, amazon, and tcgplayer sites. Should I focus on the UK? I am on some FB UK groups, but the extra cost of the shipping scares away the potential customers...I really want to dig into Pokemon but I fear that I won't be able to pull it in Poland :/

Sealed vintage WOTC product will only go up. Graded cards might fall in price due to the flood of cards hitting ebay and the like in the next handful of months.
