Yes, would be helpful. Since the self quarantine, I’ve been using bBBO with club friends and I highly recommend it for those suffering without their bridge get-together. We contact the people we want to play with, set up a time to log in and one person sets up the table (Here is where Pete could help, as it is not an intuitive process for sure.). One twist my friends use is to set up a conference call among the group while we play. That way we can chat, teach any newbies how to catch on to how this works. The voice angle makes for a much more fun experience and a decidedly more human one. The chat feature is kind of cumbersome to be typing while playing and lacks the human element.

@@MsHeebiejeebies Our local bridge group has also recently started using BBO using exactly the same technique as Susan described. We use the WhatsApp group calling facility so we can chat directly by phone to one another. The maximum number that can go on a WhatsApp group chat is 4 (including yourself).

We are all now using zoom and I now set up a teaching table for my students and now can unput my own boards for a particular teaching subject.

Great tutorial. Please tell us if we can use scoring similar to rubber bridge and not imps scoring. Where can we find that option on the website. Thanks

Saeed Zafar I play online with friends. We just keep score old school - pencil and paper. We couldn’t figure it out using the Bbo site.

Hi Pete, great tutorial. One query - I've just recently started using BBO setting up a casual game and reserving the seats for 3 friends. It works fine except a couple of times one of the players has lost connection and then once they are reconnected they don't know how to get back on the table to finish the game. The rest of us are left sitting with the only option seemingly to be for us all to leave the table and then I have to set up a new table and the scoring goes back to zero. Any tips on how to get back onto a game if momentarily disconnected?

The host of the table can click table settings and clear their name and re-enter it and another invite will pop up. Otherwise the can open the people tab and search for one of you and click join table and then take their seat.
