OH NO.. Save yourselves. This game has become all about $. Very few players can compete and have fun without spending a fortune. If you are just starting, I would HIGHLY recommend playing in a new nation until you learn the game. DO NOT SPEND a penny in your new city. If you like it and want to compete with the big cities, then go to an older nation and buy a city. I promise you that you will be able to buy a city FOR FAR LESS than it would take for you to build it yourself.
