While solving LALR,CLR,SLR if grammar contents the left recurssion or left factoring ,so always we have to remove it or it is only for solving LL(1) parser

Sir when we have like this grammar and we want to replace other production in the first one ..do we delete them after replacing or keep them ? Wich new gramar is the correct? Gramar0 X-----> Y | Z Y-----> A+C Z----->A*C Gramar 1 X----->A+C | A*C Y-----> A+C Z----->A*C Or gramar 2 X----->A+C | A*C

Dear Merry, Grammar 1 is derived from Grammar 0. In Grammar 0, the production rule for X is X -> Y | Z. The production rules for Y and Z are Y -> A+C and Z -> A*C, respectively. Substituting the production rules for Y and Z in the production rule for X, we get X -> A+C | A*C. This is the same as the production rule for X in Grammar 1. The production rules for Y and Z in Grammar 1 are the same as those in Grammar 0. Grammar 2 is not derived from Grammar 0 because it does not include production rules for Y and Z
