weird. So far, I can't find any knox produc that actually fits me. I'm 180cm. The urbane pro mk3 is really weird. In size M it's snug on the chest and baggy on the arms. Especially forearms. Size S is probably much too tight on the chest. Their urbane pro gloves are small in size M and really loose in L (although the finger lenght would be ok). So I gave up on their products.

I live in Brisbane Australia, and have been wearing the urbane pro mk2 for the past 12 months - Amazing jacket in hot weather - have just bought the urbane pro mk3 for this coming summer - waiting for it to arrive. Best hot weather jacket I’ve come across.

@allynhughes257 How are you finding the Urbane Pro in the hot weather? I'm across the ditch in NZ. Not as hot but I'm very active when riding! What's the fit like for you? Especially around the armpits? I tried the Mk 2 and it was really cutting in. I had to send it back :(

@@julianandyvonne i have the Large in both urbane pro, Mk2 and 3. I found the Mk2 is actually a bit tighter everywhere, the Large in the Mk3 is just that bit wider and longer -

I have this jacket for the Los Angeles area; it's so perfect for the freeway, city, and off-road area here. Love it! I paired it with the Adventure Pants from Bohn Armir with the smaller 5 x 8" knee pads so I could wear my tall boots, Dainese Seeker. The Bohn pants have padding on the knee, thigh, hips, and tailbone. Perfect. The Knox MK3 is a hit!

Try wearing the 'thumb loops' over your middle finger, it's a lot better as it doesn't twist the arms. 👍😁.

I purchased the Knox Urbane Pro Mk3 in July 2023. I’m a weekend warrior and I’ve put less than 40 hours of use on my jacket when the cuffs began to fray. I wrote the company directly as well as sending photos, to which they responded , that the frayed cuffs were a result of repeated abrasion from gloves, or likely wear from the Velcro closure on gloves. They said that they would not replace the jacket or refund my money. I was disappointed to say the least, particularly when “abrasion resistance“ is the company’s advertisement lead. Clearly, the material used at the cuffs is flimsy at best, and inconsistent with the durability of the rest of the jacket. I pride myself on taking meticulous care of my equipment, and for the company to suggest that the use of gloves on a motorcycle jacket caused this premature wear and damage is ridiculous and outrageous. These companies have a captive audience as well as regulatory capture to inflate their prices, and to advertise an abrasion resistant armored shirt that is now literally falling apart at the seams after less than 40 hours of use is shameful.

Hmmm interesting, i do change my outfit around a lot between jacket and Knox armour so it’s not been battered that much at this point, Will keep an eye on it

A great non biased review. I like to hear the negative bits as well. What's the fit like for you? I tried the Mk 2 and it was cutting my arms off! The Mk 3 is supposed to be 'more relaxed'? I really need the cooling - it gets really hot here on the other side of the world! Keep up the good work :)

well i went one size up from normal fitting and found that was more comfy. the smaller size cut into my neck. Can always order two and send one back (even though that's a hassle) In the UK its not as much about the heat but allows me to just wear loads of jackets and still be protected.

I’d argue the point is as an under armour but ye pros and cons of it been chilly, we did also address how it would be good touring as it would be warmer.

The Knox armer is a good idea but if you wear none armed outerwear it will get ripped to shreds in an accident , you need armer to take the blow when you come off . So I’ll be buying armed outer jacket plus air jacket.

it is a stand alone warm weather jacket. Rather than armor to be worn under another jacket. It can be for extra protection or warmth of course. But the way you are presenting itcis wrong.

I wasnt happy with the sizing. Says to measure chest and waist, but nothing about sleeves. My chest is a large but my waist is an xtra large. Looks like my arms could have been a medium as they are loose and long.
