Facts. And it may or may not also be a callback to a super old D12 song where Em said "Cancel the hash sh1t, I'm fillin' my glands full of acid, two hands full of a$$, dancin' with Angela Bassett, make plans for the caske+, your h3ad lands in a basket, a d3@d man's in the plastic, I got red hands and the mask fits.."

No you’re so wrong 😂 it’s the character Angela from NIGHT OF THE DEMONS. An 80’s partly camp flick where this girl named Angela gets possessed and then there’s like a full 10 minute dance scene where she’s just grinding and writhing and grinding. It’s a pretty famous horror dance scene among horror fans to this day, and the movie is actually known for it. It’s equal parts funny, seductive and stupid, and I fckng love it 😂 And she also gets great one liners. The character and dance was so popular among B movie horror fans at the time, that they put Demon Angela in the second and third installments too. The film was originally before my time, but I love to watch old horror movies. 🖤 this film and character fits perfectly with the relapse horrorcore theme Eminem was on in this freestyle and at this time period. It’s definitely the character Angela from Night of the Demons 👍🏼
@rebeccahopkins9522Ай бұрын
@@chedar1328How Stella Got Her Groove Back isn’t a horror film. It’s a chick flick and definitely not what Eminem was referencing. He’s referencing the character Angela from Night Of The Demons, and her famous dance scene. So, wtf are you talking about, Vampire In Brooklyn??? 😂

Knox Hill, Eminem was talking about Pinhead from Hell Raiser. Pinhead started out human but solved the puzzle box, then it opened up and pulled him into another dimension where he became the leader of the Cenobites. The cenobites were a type of demon from that other dimension. And the reason for Eminem’s pin cushion line is that Pinhead in his Cenobite form is bald with needles sticking out of his face all over like a pin cushion.

I grew up listening to Eminem in the '90s and early 2000. Yes, I also listened to all 2Pac, Biggie, Reggie, Rakim songs etc, as well as the rest of the West and East Coast. They were all great, some of them more than others, but the way this man changed everything, the amount of success he had, the unmatched talent with words...I mean he did not only reach the "suburban kids" of "White America", it also crossed the fucking ocean and got here in Europe where I'm from and conquered it lol and then he took the rest of the world as well. Simply the goat.

Nerofins and he put nerve ends into his syrup because he’s eating the people he just unalived. the headlines” reference also is saying cutting heads off effectively. It’s also layers so it’s a triple entendre, that’s why it hits even though it goes over our heads.

I'll say it again: Em is the greatest rapper in history, and will never be beaten. Why? Because he literally transcends rap. He is a genius who happens to do rap. He could do anything. He does do anything. People take it for granted that -- not that he was the biggest artist during the Internet blow-up, nor that he literally has about three rapper personas rolled into one -- he literally re-invented flow itself in the late-1990s. Only things that really existed across the 2000s was Em and more typical old-school West coast stuff, or else New York style. I mean, Lil Wayne got going in the 2000s, too, but was not really big until the 2010s and with Em on some of his songs, too. A few others were big in the 2000s, but most were either post-Em or because of Em directly. 50 Cent was kind of due to Em, and more of the 'club' style, even though he largely hates that and is actually a very nice, intelligent guy. Em also has a profound dark/black comedy, which is more common of the British and Europeans in general. I figure that Em read a lot growing up, and got into certain figures that way. Also, you require a great eye for detail, and high IQ to be that ironic/dark. Black comedy is an art itself. He's a modern poet, I think (maybe one of the few modern poets worth mentioning). His complete understanding of the English language is fucking stupid, coupled with the flow. Ain't nobody like Em. Anybody who claims he's not very good are shockingly biased. It's an objective fact that he is truly great.
